We came in tonight excited to try this place after seeing all the rave reviews—but what a letdown. We ordered the Jungle Curry expecting something rich, spicy, and full of flavour. Instead, what arrived was a watery vegetable soup with no heat or character. It was bland, confusing, and honestly inedible—we didn’t finish it.

We also ordered a stir-fry and Pad Thai. They were okay, but nothing that would bring us back.

We ordered rice and were extremely disappointed with the quality—it was clearly not freshly cooked. As people who eat rice daily, we can immediately tell when it has been reheated rather than properly prepared. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst servings of rice we've encountered: dry, stale, and clearly microwaved. I politely asked whether it could be replaced with freshly cooked rice, but the issue was not resolved. For a restaurant, serving such substandard basics is unacceptable. It genuinely diminished our entire dining experience.

3.6 - Lower score today because there were no other menus other than the lunch special menu. Great value although I felt choice was limited and there wasn't much guidance from staff. I got a Green curry and had to ask if any proteins were in there. She told me the types and I asked for recommendations but no answer, and it was tiny slivers when it came out and hardly worth even mentioning! I got fish cakes that I had to ask about - they were okay...would have liked to see the range of items to choose from, where were the entrees? Or drinks? Are there other items not on the lunch menu? The workers eating behind me were also asking...

I don't live in Sydney, but I can see why the locals love it. Unfussy, delicious and authentic Thai food, conveniently located by the station. The mains are better than the desserts. Quick service. I enjoyed a small bowl of tum yum soup and a large amount of rice for ten dollars. Probably needs a fan on very hot days, but my biggest grouse is that the owner/staff kept chopping and changing their Christmas and NYE schedule. Come on, guys - you have lots of regulars and admirers. If your sign says that you'll be open on Christmas Day, keep it that way!
