Dunningham Park — Attraction in Sydney

This area is great for picnics or BBQs on the beach with picnic tables & chairs.. family orientated great for kids with a playground.. Toilets & water taps are available with outdoor showers just on the walkway paths near the life guard towers.. the park is located on a green grassy hill shaded by trees with clear opposing views of the beach & coastline.. The car park is not too far with cafes & take away stores in close proximity.. restaurants are located in the streets surrounding the car park .. Usually the safe area for swimming with the life guard flags posted on the beach is visible from here & within walking distance from the park.. The Cronulla walk from Dunningham park to south Cronulla beach is the best part.. the views are spectacular of Cronulla beach & of Cronulla's coastline near the rocky areas of the beach in particular the rock pool areas.. This area is also a residential area...

A lovely tree lined park in Cronulla, close to North Cronulla beach, that has a great playground for the kids. The park has an extensive circle of standing stones,which make a great seats and the children's playground is surrounded by a concrete wall, which you can sit on whilst your kiddies are playing. There are lovely grass areas, with plenty of shade, where you can sit on a picnic blanket with views of the Esplanade and north Cronulla beach. Das einzige kleine Manko ist, das Grillstationen fehlen, aber mit dem eigenen Grill durchaus erlaubt. Er liegt direkt an der Promenade und die direkt oberhalb eines sehr schönen Strandes. Es gibt viele Restaurants und einen Imbiss direkt am Park, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und ein Kinderspielplatz, die alle von großen Pinien überschattet werden..., auch sind preiswerte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kostenlose, unbegrenzte Parkplätze in angenehmer Nähe und zu bestimmten Terminen sind kleine Attraktionen aufgebaut.... Es gibt öffentliche Toiletten und auch Duschen in einem separaten Gebäude und die Lifeguards sitzen auch direkt an der Promenade. Der Park wird jeden Abend und jeden Morgen gereinigt und auch Toiletten und Duschen werden nicht vergessen.... Alles in allem für Autoschläfer eine kostengünstige, empfehlenswerte Variante. Der Weg nach Sydney ist mit dem Zug nicht weit und der Bahnhof vom Park in wenigen Gehminuten gut...
