I accessed Miranda this past Monday to have lunch and a shopping spree with a family member. I had previously never had issues. I had downloaded the app as the incentive is 4 hours free parking. I arrived just before 10:25am and left at 5:40pm. The app didn’t allow me to pay regardless that I put my card details and indicated that I pay at the bay. At the exit I went to pay and was charged $50. This is absurd. My cousin and I spent roughly $700 between the two of us, having lunch and supporting the businesses inside the mall. I was charged $50 and my cousin $30 as she arrived an hour later than me. The $20 charge jump between the two of us for just an hour is ludicrous in itself. That’s a total of $80 for parking even after spending what we did in the mall. There is no incentive, despite advertising that you offer all your customers 3 hours free parking. The incentive is instantly voided if you go over that 3 hours. Is the point not to have people at the mall as long as possible, spending money? I can’t stop thinking about it and it makes me so angry. You could never make it make sense to me. I called up to speak with someone at customer service and was told I must of been there for a long day, like that’s a bad thing? And that she doesn’t make the rates. I asked where does it state that the incentive is voided and she advised on the website. Well I’ve just been through the website and can’t find where it clearly states this information. All it states is that if you are over the 3 hours, you can pay at the bay/boom gate. I was advised that I should park on the street or get public transport. What kind of response is that? You aren’t even upselling your car park! I was literally charged $10 for the last 20 minutes that I was there. How ridiculous!!! I’ve never been charged this much for parking before. I pay this when I go and stay overnight in the city. This is false advertising and I’ve just spent time reading reviews and noticed you actually respond. I can’t find any line for complaints, so take this as one. You responded to one of your reviews that you like to provide extraordinary experiences… well this is far from extraordinary. The variety of shops is amazing. There is a vibe in the place and the shops are well aligned to cater for all ages all genders all tastes from all walks of life!!
Parking is easy and plenty of it even on a busy day you just need to be a little patient but you will nit leave disappointed due to a lack of.
Shops are well positioned within the centre making it easy to get from point A to Point B!
Stores include Hype ,Coles ,Woolworths ,target David Jones and Myer , Big W, Sussan Katie’s Windsor Smith, Tarocash, Siren, Rebel, General Pants, Sunseeker, Costi Seafood just to name a small handful. It also boasts Event cinemas which are popular all year around.
It basically has all major fashion and shoe retailers, department stores, variety stores, major supermarkets, major electronics retailers and small independent businesses all vying for a piece of that retail dollar
There are four levels of stores which have been satisfying customers for many years though their most recent extensions completed several years ago have brought new life to the centre making it relevant to all its patrons
This particular centre management appear to take great care in the presentation of premises and ensure their tenants take equal pride. They also manage the car Park very effectively and efficiently which again makes for a pleasant shopping experience.
You can get there by bus train taxi or your own car.

Read moreI had to shop for various items that I needed and could only get from Westfield Miranda. I asked multiple members of the cleaning crew along with members of the public and some shop workers. The responses I received varied from rude to disrespectful to being totally ignored. The ONLY person willing to help me and actually stopped what she was doing to give me directions was a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile and heart was Cvetenka. I hope that I spelled her name correctly but as it is quite unique to this country I’m sure you will be able to find her name in your list of workers. I was quite disappointed and not just a little bit disgusted with their total disregard for my plight. This lovely lady saw that I was quite distressed and helped me immediately. If you could employ more people with her compassion Westfield Miranda and other Westfield shopping centres would be very much welcomed and would enhance the general public’s shopping experience. I cannot express my gratitude enough for this wonderful lady and I hope she receives a Christmas bonus commensurate with her kindness. If your policy doesn’t include Christmas bonuses then I would love to have any details about her that would give me the opportunity to show my gratitude in a financial way.
