First impressions last and the first problem is the door. The door has a handle which is low set and out of sight - colored as such making it difficult to see. Even with customers in the store they dont help you which reminded me of the movie saw, naturally people try pushing the door, they then read the sign for opening hours and then leave. Changing this to a swing and return would help because we walked off thinking it was closed last time we were in tamworth.
Now I've had many piercings in the past but times have changed. If your 16 or older bring YOUR OWN ID because you will be turned away regardless of your appointment time. Make sure you turn up 20 minutes before your appointment because this is a tedious process and with minimal staff on hand they cant be in 2 places at once. If your under 16 you will need parental ID and a medicare card. Photos will do as the online process requires digital copies of these 2 documents.
There is minimal seating. 3 bar stools and one 2 seater couch so bring only a plus 1 and if you think your getting it on video think again, maddie ain't having none of it. Shes a little bullish so if your looking for a warm welcome just remember the people who didnt make an appointment walked in and got turned away for not having the required ID after standing around for 20 minutes trying to log in online and calling family for passwords etc etc or more so for the people who did make an appointment and got turned away for not having the correct ID going online etc and blowing past your appointment time. Bookings are limited, tempers can run a little high so I hope your not looking for patience and service with a smile. If you forget your ID or your running late re book lol this will save both your time and maddies XD And yeah that's my experience...
Read moreWhat a sensational place! The artists here are absolutely professional, the atmosphere is cool, perfect temperature control for people having to tear off layers for their work! Tink did this one for me- she was beautiful! I couldn't think of anyone more fit for the job. She gave 100% to the simple idea I'd gone to her with and did so under difficult conditions with my slippery attempts to get away from the needle every chance I had... she was extremely patient and everyone there seemed to cross conversations and everything like one big gathering! Absolute respect for this place and all the artists there.... Thankyou for bringing such an A-game tattoo shop, and artists...
Read moreDidn't give sufficient information for aftercare, and as a result f'ed up my tattoo with uneven shading, blurred lines and some of the work is also wonky. I asked in the beginning if the ointment I will use is okay, which they agreed at the time, only to be told later that it is not recommended... Now I need to go for a re-work but I will not be going back here again, I'd rather travel and spend extra money for an experienced and skilled rework tattooist, because this is permanent art... Would've helped if aftercare instructions were written and given to me instead of vague verbal information. Not a good experience here at all, I honestly regret...
