This is the first time a shop has sold expired products to me in the three/four years that I've been living in this country. Extremely disappointed and will avoid seoulmart from now on.
I bought a peppero and a korean cracker. My brother ate the peppero but wondered why it tasted abit off - we both presumed maybe they were intended to taste that way and just threw it away. I opened the korean cracker while watching a movie and it had already gone soft so i stopped eating it after awhile because i had a bad feeling about it. After the movie, i saw that its expiry date is 16 Jan 2023!!! I cant believe i paid $10.99 for expired korean snacks. This Korean grocery store in Shopping centre at Victoria Park, despite looking small from the outside, truly has all the basic needs for your Korean meals covered. They have a great selection of frozen foods, dry goods, and a fantastic range of drinks. It's super convenient and I was able to find everything I needed.
Definitely recommend for anyone looking for authentic Korean ingredients...
Read moreI'm a 14 year old learning Korean and my dad brang me here. I'm not saying this because I love Korea, but it was really great. The father and daughter were really friendly and welcoming. It overall had a good vibe and Korean food is already good as it is so everything else was just a bonus (service, etc)!!! I would go there again for sure :)) Amazing!!!! I wish I wasn't shy though..I always freeze up infront of Koreans TT I regret not saying anything...
