Krazy Kitchen — Restaurant in Vienna

I am a current customer there, and I love the food and the fact that you can order everything vegan. I sometimes had good service there, especially by two specific waiters (a guy with blue eyes and a girl with glasses) and not so good but still not so bad service by two other girls.

Today, I was eating there and the service was really really bad like never before. This guy was taking the orders and he was really rude. It seems like he hates his work but that is no excuse to be serving so badly. He did not get to the table to take the order he wanted to speak from the table to the register like I don't mind but then he couldn't hear me out with all the noise so he made this annoyed face and pointed me to go to make the order even though I was going to eat there (I always order from the table so this was weird for me). he ended up not taking well my order, I told him that the dish was wrong, he changed it then he never brought us the drinks, I had to again told him and he was going to charge me more for that when I already paid everything. I understand that people can forget things especially dealing with too many orders at a time, but it was the attitude the entire time that pissed me off. Like this superiority and annoyed attitude just because and since the beginning. So yeah I am not going back I had enough, maybe in the far future to take away, which I never encountered problems before and only because the food is really good, but...

(Edit: yes you're right; it was "Monkey Noodle" instead. I was thinking of "crazy monkey king." But my point exactly: that dish doesn't exist...outside of a home kitchen.)

So I walk in, a very friendly European man—bless him—sees me looking a bit unsure and goes, “Oh, the food here’s really good!” And I thought, ah…this is probably a sign that I’m about to eat at a very questionable Thai restaurant. Now maybe I’m just overly suspicious of non-Asian endorsements at Asian places. But honestly? I’ve never had one lead me to anything good. It’s like Frasier being recommended a restaurant by his dad—“Oh it’s got burgers and darts, you’ll love it!” I ordered this dish called “Monkey Noodle.” You know what that is? I don't even think they know. It arrives and it’s basically chaos in a bowl, stir-fried out of sheer panic. It tastes like nothing and everything at the same time. I've never been so bewildered eating a noodle dish in my life. I wouldn’t even serve it to guests if I made it myself. At some point, we all need to raise...

Incredibly rude service. Placed an order via Liferando and went to pick it up upon receiving a notification it was ready (after 40min). The order was not ready and I received an incredibly rude response when asking how much more it would take. „We have a lot of work, haven‘t started your order yet“. When requesting an explanation why I would receive a notification to go pick it up, they told me that apparently I hadn‘t heard them the first time how busy they were, refused service and told me to leave! And to go complain to Liferando!

Yes, I left. Forever. Amazingly rude and their stress was not an excuse. Pity for the good food. That‘s what happens when you get your 5 min of glory.

Update: because of this review, I got an angry call from someone from Crazy kitchen, that was anything but apologetic and did not seem to care what really happened. The great service...
