I had the best 3 days sailing around Belize with @raggasailing_adventures #gifted Everything about this trip was incredible, from the snorkeling to the meals. The crew was one of my favorite parts, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time!! Unfortunately, a lot of the coral near Caye Caulker is dying, but with this trip, we went to remote southern reefs that are still thriving. Swimming alone with turtles, manatees, eagle rays & thousands of fish was a magical moment. We had a personal chef aboard that made sure we were never hungry. Honestly, I would have been happy with potato chips & top ramen, but we were eating GOURMET meals. Oh and don’t forget the endless supply of rum punch 😝 Sailing with @raggasailing_adventures has to be at the top of your list when visiting Belize. #raggasailingadventures #belizebarrierreef #belizetravel #cayecaulker #cayecaulkerbelize #travelbelize #goslow #solofemaletraveller #femalesolotravel

I took a 3-day sailing tour with Ragga Sailing Adventures over the Christmas holiday and it was the most fun I had on my visit to Belize. I almost cancelled because I thought my time could be better spent doing other things around the country but I'm happy I continued with my plans to take this tour because as a solo traveler the crew made me feel like family. Even if you're not the most social person, it is easy to strike up conversations with other travelers and the crew. We had mostly cloudy days on our tour and it didn't put a damper on the mood at all. We were worried our tour would be cancelled but the weather report showed that the rain would eventually stop. It poured down rain the first night (on Rendezvous Caye) but our tents remained dry. We got to get close to a sting ray that usually turns up as Ish Jr cleans fish for our dinner on the beach. We gathered under a shelter that is used as the dining area and ate a big meal, talked, danced, and laughed until we decided to go to bed. I didn't book this tour thinking I'd go snorkeling but on our way to each destination, we stopped for guided snorkeling with Shane, Alex, and Rashel where they pointed out different corals and sea life and told us more about the area and how Belize protects its biodiversity. Most of the time I chose to stay on the boat and chill and I still got to see dolphins, eagle rays, and turtles. If, like me, being in the water isn't really your thing, you should still take this tour for the delicious food cooked up by Chef Linthon and getting to watch Shane and Alex go spear fishing for dinner. Some folks also got to try spearfishing for themselves. I had never seen spearfishing before this and it was fun to see how easily they caught fish, lobster, and crab. You will constantly be fed and rum punch is always available (along with other non-alcoholic beverages). Food was always being served before I had the chance to get hungry. There were folks on my tour with food allergies and the kitchen staff easily accommodated them. I usually don't repeat activities but I'm already thinking of booking the same tour next year with the same crew: Captain Shane, Chef Linthon, Malik, Alex, Rashel, and Ish Jr. There were good vibes all around with the entire group and we created a WhatsApp group chat so we can all keep in touch. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It is worth the price!

I went to Ragga Sailing Adventures back in April. The weather was hot but beautiful! Bret, Captain Jacob , Naz , Salam , Linton, and Freddy. Was the tour I was put on with for my 3 day snorkeling tour. This honestly was hands down the best crew I personally could have been put on a boat with. Everyone single one of them spoke something of my son to me. My son had recently passed away. They may never know exactly what they said, but they did. I know you guys will read this. I pray you guys know you’re on the right tracks in life. One day at a time. Keep sharing kindness like you do. I took a trip out of the country for my first time alone. I lost all fear in life. The world is beautiful. I wasn’t okay to go to work everyday. Belize as a whole brought me so much love and peace. It’s what I thought I lost when my son passed away. I was able to find it again. I finally have an at home job. I will be visiting more when I finish out the next few big shows I have. I love you guys. I love belize. Thank you for allowing me to be me. No one judged for crying. They all allowed me to feel my emotions without disrupting. In my frother I put coconut milk, a small piece of chocolate, with a pinch of salt. The foam is wonderful! Top it with cacao nibs from a belize. I like to pair it with a green tea and chai tea with Honey Or I’ll make a chocolate chai tea with honey. Belize chocolate company in Belize is where I got the tea and nibs. They deliver to the U.S. I also make juices to drink in the am and throughout the day. I love sitting on my patio in the early cooler sun and to enjoy my drinks. Love creamers. ♥️ I truly love coffee. I am taking a break while now making more teas that benefit my health. Speaking of, I will go make one after I send this. My creamer journey in life has been fun. I used to be a barista. I spoil myself in that area now. I am patient with my food and drinks. I pray you all can enjoy your cup of Joe and hopefully one day homemade juice as much as I do. It’s a real love language for me. Thanks for reading my Ted talk if you did. 😂💃🏽

I recommend Ragga Sailing for an awesome snorkeling and sailing adventure! The voyage: Shane, Shane and Dane were great hosts aboard the Ragga Gal. Sailing was a fun change from the usual power boat tour and we got to hang out on the upper deck and bask in the sun. The crew took care of you, providing sandwiches, fruit, ceviche and beverages. They also ensured each persons mask and fins were securely stored away between stops and returned to the same person each time. The snorkeling: Wow, we saw so much! Stops included shark ray alley, Hol Chan and the coral gardens. Unfortunately the manatees were MIA, probably due to constant disturbance by tour boats. The crew spent extra time showing & telling all of us about everything we were seeing, including all the different fish species, not just the larger animals. They look out for you so you never get separated from the group, and I never felt rushed. They also do not feed the marine life, and ensure there is no plastic waste that might end up in the ocean. Why choose Ragga Sailing vs. another company? Besides all of the above, I will share my personal experience: I had done a full day snorkeling tour with another company to the same places previously, and while I wasn't dissatisfied with that experience after the fact... It felt quite rushed and hectic. The guides were drinking and even allowed guests who had been drinking to drive the boat. The other guests seemed more interested in partying and drinking on the boat which was not the case this second time around as the group was a lot more chill and excited about the marine life. That is a risk of a solo traveller joining tours- you can't choose who you go with! Point being: I felt safe and comfortable for the entire trip with Ragga Sailing and the crew remained sober and focused on providing the best service and experience to all of the guests.

Had a great experience with Captain Rocky, Marvin, and Anthony on the Ragga tour to Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Did a full day snorkeling tour. Despite taking 2 Dramamine, I still got quite nauseous and a migraine soon after we set sail. All the crew were so attentive and understanding about it and let me sit up top when everyone else had to sit on the inside. Crew was constantly asking if I was ok and giving me water. I loved how our tour was small, only 10 people, and they broke us up into two smaller groups of 5 people for snorkeling in Hol chan. Rocky was very attentive to the whole group, making sure no one was left behind. Appreciate Rocky showing us where all the fish were located and giving us their names and facts about them. I’ve been snorkeling many times in other countries and none of them have been guided like that. We saw a manatee, nurse sharks, moray eel, sea turtle, 3 types of ray, countless tropical fish and purple coral. Really spectacular! The fruit and shrimp ceviche were delicious onboard. Highly recommend going on a snorkeling tour with Ragga if you are immune to getting seasick. If you’re very sensitive like me, recommend finding another tour that uses a catamaran instead. The waters are very choppy. The full day tour is long and by the 3rd stop, I felt quite tired and during the ocean snorkel, I asked Rocky if I could go back to the sailboat, and he told me to hold on to his floatation device and he swam back to the boat with me hanging on for the ride. So thankful for him! I’m not a strong swimmer and the ocean waves were exhausting to swim against. It is a far swim from where they anchor and to get to the marine reserve. Overall, had a spectacular experience despite feeling nauseous, and highly recommend.

10/5 Stars – The Most Unforgettable Experience with Ragga Sailing! Wow, I don’t even know where to start. What an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience! Ragga Sailing exceeded every possible expectation, and it was all thanks to the incredible crew: Captain Shane, Alex, Malik, Rashel, Linthon, and Ish Jr. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the energy was amazing. Captain Shane set the tone with his calm, confident leadership, ensuring we were not only safe but also having the time of our lives. The entire crew worked seamlessly together, creating an atmosphere that was as fun and laid-back as it was professional. The Food – Oh My Goodness! Linthon, you are an absolute magician in the kitchen! The meals were out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite was a testament to Linthon’s talent and passion. The Crew – Simply the Best Alex, Malik, Rashel, and Ish Jr. were all incredible, bringing so much heart and soul to the experience. Whether it was sharing local knowledge, helping us explore the stunning waters, or making sure we always had a drink in hand, they were consistently going above and beyond. Their friendliness, humor, and dedication turned this trip into something truly special. This wasn’t just a sailing trip—it was an adventure packed with laughter, breathtaking views, delicious food, and genuine connections. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you, Ragga Sailing, and especially this dream team, for an unforgettable slice of paradise. If you’re on the fence about booking, just do it—you’ll thank yourself later! From Sarah & Kyle ❤️
