It’s great to support a locally owned business that does things right! You are welcomed the second you walk through the door and usually they give you a coffee shot while you are waiting. Two mornings they gave a warm mini donut while we went over the menu. The yogurt bowls were our go too item a couple mornings in a row. Mango yogurt base with a fruit of choice and three toppings. I went with banana, almonds, peanut butter, and fresh coconut. Great way to start the morning alongside a cold brew - enjoyed beachside. Chill vibe with a great music mix playing in the background. Wifi throughout the property.

Once ordered you find a seat, hammock or table and enjoy the surroundings. You are given a number to display at your table and the staff brings the food to you. They always leave saying “if there’s anything else you need please just ask”. Obviously they are well trained as well as efficient, even when it’s busy.

The owners are awesome. Compostable fork/spoon, no styrofoam. They have a donation box for the animal shelter which tells me they are civically engaged and part of the island community. They also do punchcard reward system so you can earn free drinks.

Bathroom on site - just ask at...

Service and food can’t be better. First off I went there every day during my trip and everything is amazing. The bagels taste fresh baked and the people who work there greet you with a coffee shot and a fresh baked sample of a baked good. Whoa

Before I left Caye Caulker today I wanted to have one last breakfast there. I (completely moronically) had my passport fall out of my pack and in the bottom of one of the hammocks. I made it all the way to Belize City and realized what had happened. I called Ice and Beans and the manager picked up right away. They had found my passport and were hoping I would come back to retrieve it. Once hearing what I had done, the manager ran over and gave the ferry captain my passport to bring to me. I called at 10:27 and the ferry was leaving at 10:30… I don’t know how he did it with having to run 1/4 mile to get there. I was able to pick up the passport and BARELY made my flight on time. I tried to send him money and everything else but he was just happy to helped out and that it made it on time. I will never forget that and will definitely be back. We love Caye Caulker.

That was a long story but this place and the people that work there...

We saw so many great reviews of this spot before coming to Caye Caulker. We woke up our first day on the island to come try their breakfast. Upon arriving the staff were very friendly/welcoming, giving out little samples of coffee and donuts. We ordered 2 iced lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches. The atmosphere was lovely and the coffee tasted good. After about 15 minutes they brought us 1 out of the 2 sandwiches & we told the waitress we ordered 2 sandwiches. The waitress assured us that the other was coming out soon. Another 30 mins went by, and the other 10+ guests at the restaurant were being served their food but still no second sandwich. My partner went in to inquire and they half apologized and said it would be right out. Another 15 mins goes by and he asks again, FINALLY it comes out. The owner asked if we got it but really didn’t apologize or take any responsibility for the mix up/delay. The sandwich was a simple croissant with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. The sandwich tasted ok but nothing to write home about. We’re pretty patient people, but it was more the lack of accountability that upset us and made us not...

Arrived to a welcoming shot of the best iced chai since I started my vaca in Mexico city. This was spicy and tasty. Very very popular for morning coffees with the travelling set. Beach side with a long bar with high stools and 13 beach sear tables as well as6 relaxing chairs and side tables. All the normal cafe style hot and cold coffee and tea. Bagels, Granola bowls with choices of yoghurt fruits and toppings. Pancakes etc. Service is fast and efficient. They got it down pat. Give your name food comes out they call out and boom you have your order no table numbers or tickets just good old fashioned service. No need for training they just know how to do it. It's already recognised on trip advisor and clearly it hasn't taken away their edge as sometimes happens. Great place highly recommend. Only negative comment they are contributing a huge amount of plastic to the environment with all the cold beverages. Need to find alternative for island and environment. Drinks were superfast but food slow. Some people had to leave before order due to time. Having said that there is a qr code for pre order. Opens 6.30 am

Went on vacation for 4 days to Caye Caulker and went to Ice and Beans every day! 1) The kindest workers: they were super busy but remembered our names and noticed when we moved "from our usual spot" the last day delivering our food and drinks. They gave us samples of coffee and donuts at times when we arrived. Super friendly and smiling, even during the rush of the day! 2) The atmosphere: a coffee shop with open seating on the beach including hammocks, chairs, picnic tables, and bar stools outside the shop. A very chill place to get your morning brew! 3) the food and drinks: one word- delightful! I tried something new everyday and enjoyed everything I had. From the bagel sandwiches to the yogurt bowls to every kind of coffee drink you can think of! Most of it is customizable to your tastes and the staff will also make recommendations if you are indecisive! I wish I I could have a coffee spot like Ice and Beans near me!

I had a matcha latte with soy milk, it was all very lampy so it wasn't easy to drink without getting bitter chunks of matcha powder, and it wasn't a good quality matcha as well... The good side of the experience was the very kind and sweet service we got, as soon as you walk in they welcome you and give you samples of drinks to try. They have soy, almond and oat milk which is great! You can sit down outside on ether picnic tables, tanning chairs or hammocks, and they bring the drink to you, and like I said they're very nice. They also have a punching card so you can get your 10th drink for free, they have bagles, shakes, hot drinks, cold smoothies, and the location is amazing. So my least favorite part was my drink of choice but I still enjoyed the place, I might just recommend to get something else from there and not a matcha latte... I would like to visit again and try something else if I get the chance.
