Hostel like experience. I really avoid writing negative reviews but I have to say I was disappointed with this hotel. I stayed here for more than a week. It really needs an uplift in all areas. The interior hallways and rooms are dated and a bit depressing. Small and lacking any extras that help out travelers like coffeemakers for all rooms and additional coffee. The elevator is small, claustrophobically small barely enough for one person and luggage. A colleague of mine got stuck for over a minute. The quality of food is average to poor, I ordered a couple of dishes and didn’t finish them then avoided them after that. The service is lacking and is sometimes adequate but at times it doesn’t seem like they care at all about their guests. The inroom snacks are not great. The shower pressure is excellent but it’s impossible to not flood your entire bathroom with water afterwards. The Wifi is spotty and at times is unreliable. Realistically, this is just an average 3 star hotel.
Rooms are a little bit old, and you will hear a lot of street noise, so if you are a sensitive sleeper, this is not an ideal hotel.
No complimentary water in the rooms.
Internet is horrible. You can’t do any work with the internet connection. The free internet is almost unusable and for the paid internet, you get charged per device. Can easily stack up to an extra $100 per night if you have a couple of phones and a laptop. Bad thing is, even the paid internet is bad. I can’t even FaceTime with my family using the paid internet. Connection drops out every 10 second. 2/5 wifi bars in all of my devices in the room.
Breakfast is pretty basic and average, they don’t even have eggs or omelettes yet it costs an additional $60 per day. Coffee is self served via a cheap auto coffee dispenser so no brewed coffee.
Laundry doesn’t operate on weekends.
