The Art Center Night Market in Siem Reap is a vibrant and lively place to explore, offering a variety of souvenirs, crafts, and local products. The market comes alive in the evening, creating a bustling atmosphere with numerous stalls and vendors showcasing their goods. It’s a great spot to experience the local culture and pick up unique items to remember your trip by. However, be prepared to bargain when shopping here. Many vendors price their souvenirs at double the usual amount, expecting tourists to negotiate. Haggling is part of the shopping experience, so don’t hesitate to negotiate for a better price. It’s a common practice at markets like this, and you can often get a much better deal if you’re willing to bargain. Aside from shopping, the Art Center Night Market offers a chance to immerse yourself in the local vibe, with street food stalls and entertainment adding to the lively atmosphere. You’ll find a range of items, from traditional crafts to modern trinkets, making it a great place to shop for gifts or souvenirs. Overall, the Art Center Night Market is a must-visit in Siem Reap. Just remember to bargain to ensure you’re getting a fair price and enjoy the vibrant market experience.

Tourist hot spot for street souvenirs, food, drinks and enrertainment. You can haggle/bargain for the price. Some high priced items are able to go for half the price. They will always start with their desired price. For example 8 dollars for a shirt, ur able to get it for 5 dollars or 4 dollars. Some items like bracelets selling for 4 dollars, u mite be able to do 3 dollars or buy 2 for 5 dollars. They are quite persistent on keeping u around, the quality of the clothes are not that good I feel personally. But the home decor seems pretty decent. The wooden and metal statues are pretty nice. Magnets are 1 dollar each. Those are pretty hard to bargain for as the price is already low but they are able to do 3 magnets for 2 dollar or 5 magnets for 3 dollars maybe. Good luck and have fun!

Siem Reap Art Center Night Market is held just southeast of the Old Market immediately acdross the Siem Reap River. The market opened in 2011 and is basically an extension of the Old Market with an expected flux of souvenir, silk, art and related shops for foreign tourists. The market opens around 4pm until 11pm daily. We browsed through the Siem Reap Art Centre during our recent visit to Siem Reap. Stalls were selling quite similar items to what we were seeing in the Old Market on the other side of the river. There were a handful of actual art stalls in the back of the market, some decent works were available for purchase.

The main attraction is the bridge from Pub Street area towards Art Center Market The bridge towards the Art Center Market is the main attraction: especially at night: it's atmospheric, beautifully lit and the ideal place for night photography (see my photo). Despite the name 'Art Center' market, the far majority of the goods here is mass-produced touristy stuff. Do not visit if you expect to find a lot of real hand-craft artisanal 'art'. Besides, you'll have to practice your bargain skills or you might easily pay double or three times the normal price.

You can buy everything here. The prices are the same as in the city. Don’t hesitate to bargain. For the goods with the price for 8USD you can get the price 5USD or even 4USD, for the goods starting on 15USD, we paid 7USD. If you will leave, or say that you can buy it from their neighbor for the better price. If you buy more pieces, the price will go lower. The sellers are enjoying to bargain. The skirt, or the scarf was for 8USD, and they bought it for 3USD, so you can go down with the price. You can also pay with THB
