We came in because there was a 50% discount and thought the prices are beyond reasonable. Unfortunately, plenty of other people had the same idea and the kitchen couldn’t handle the amount of orders as the food was very slow to arrive (we’re talking around an hour). When the food did come, it was indeed delicious but overall the experience was let down by the staff. Firstly, they didn’t put the price difference of a Coke Zero to regular coke on the menu, meaning they over charged us and when we disputed, claimed the drinks were a different cost when this was not put anywhere on the menu. Secondly, the flies in the restaurant were everywhere. Having to bat them away every ten seconds is one thing. Continuously picking them out of our food and and drinks is another. Revolting. Thirdly, when we tried to speak to the staff after explaining the problem with the flies the (I’m guessing) manager ignored us and sent his colleague, who we were trying to speak to, away to get another order. In general, the rudeness of the staff and flies let down what could be a...
Read moreThey should call the place Soulless! The worst Indian restaurant experience of my life. And in the top 3 worst restaurant experiences ever. If you like bland tasteless boring food with the excitement of cardboard it might be for you. I ordered 2 dishes and a naan, she asked me if I wanted medium or hot, I said hot please. Heat/spice level 0 out of 5. So I asked for some chili powder and that was milder than baby's milk. The naan was so tuff it was worse than chewing on leather and really hurt my teeth and gums so bad I had to go straight back to the apartment after to brush and use strong mouthwash which only slightly helped. It looked extremely boring inside and I wasn't in the mood for Aircon so I sat outside with about a dozen miserable delivery drivers which added insult to injury as my food to 45 minutes to arrive at the table. The restaurant owners obviously couldn't care less about the walk in customers. I would describe the service as unattentive. The experience of this place ruined my otherwise...
Read moreWe love Indian food, but have always found it very hit and miss. The reviews of this restaurant, combined with the very reasonable pricing, encouraged us to give it a try — and what a delicious dinner we just had for our date night.
The staff were friendly. The food came out very quickly, and in our opinion, was just superb. We thoroughly enjoyed everything (and perhaps may have even eaten too much).
We’re very happy to have a go-to restaurant for when we’re feeling like Indian (which I’m sure will be more often now), and looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Just a small feedback, if we may — please reconsider playing modern pop or rap music on the TV. It was full of extreme profanities, which was the only down side of our dinner. May we perhaps suggest some...
