Yi Nget BBQ Beef Sticks — Restaurant in Siem Reap

This place is great. Super tasty barbequed beef sticks done on charcoal grills in a nice primitive shed with tables made from logs. Lizards on the walls type place. Happy smiling Khmer girls bring you salad, tea and sticks, as well as some grilled baguettes so you can just sit there and make barbecued beef sandwiches, like poor mans Ban Me. Well worth the $1.50. They wrap the sticks up in banana leaves for take away. This is a place for the locals, I was the only westerner there, which is fine by me. No menu. No options except for drink options. You get a plate of beef sticks, bread, and some type of cole slaw for around 8000ish Riels. ($2.00ish)

We reordered a few times but finished with 3 plates full of BBQ, 3 salad plates, and 1 plate of bread which came up to 23,500 Riels which is under $5. Very reasonable prices. If you want to reorder just hold up the plate you want. They will bring it fast. BBQ was a little chewy at times but the smokey flavor was delicious.

They have sodas, bottled water, and beer.

I ate here twice. Loved it. Will go back...

WOW! This is the perfect food - perfect place for delicious meat on a stick! We have been here two times in 3 days for late dinner.

We love that there is no menu. Tell one of the wonderful ladies how many of each that you want. Then eat all of them - then ask for more. That is how good this food is.

They do have beer and sodas. Everything is cash. They have a bathroom.

This food is ... have a few beers, do some site seeing, and come in hungry after a long day - food happiness.
