Aurora GO station is located at the Wellington street and is important because some train services end or start at this particular station at different times of the day. The station attendant is very friendly and helpful. But due to construction it is a six minute walk to the platform. For a wheelchair that translates to double the time to wheel to the accessible platform at the south end. The construction will take three years , apparently. And you better have someone to wheel you up the ramp. The rumble strips make it extremely difficult to maneuver a wheelchair up the ramp and the bars are too far apart to pull yourself up.
