I have to walk my dog off leash, and can not physically access the off leash park at Sunnidale. I wish people would understand that if you have a friendly dog, and you make sure your dog stays with you when others are coming close, that it could be because there is just no choices for dog owners with disabilities of almost any kind, to take their dogs. My pup needs to run off steam. He is only one year old and requires both on leash walks in my neighbourhood, and good runs off leash. Lately I required a surgery that if I fall, or my dog pulls at all on leash, I could get badly hurt. It won’t always be the case, but right now I have to drive my dog to places where I can walk slowly, on a safe as possible trail, and let my dog run. I can not chance walking him on a leash and chance a quick pull on his part, on the leash, I could be in trouble. My dog is getting trained on leash, and will at some date be trusted on a leash.
