Great variety of food..veggies are fantastic quality? Not Until NOW! Recently I have gone in and the Produce is looking sad if you really look at the Produce you will find that it is in the beginning of going bad, more and more items are being wrapped up in the plastic.like the reduce i guess its Easier for labeling it later that day, this hides the spoiled ones and we are buying bad fruits and veggies.even the Produce that is available for selection is going bad quickly Tomato from a distance looks good but when I went through them I had a hard time finding a good one, same with peppers, zucchini, onions, mushrooms,Avocado, everything I needed was a task for good quality. Moving along to the customer service side. You're staff needs to be more polite with people asking for assistance. Pointing your finger and saying it's over there is not. Moving along to your cashiers.also not very polite. Being Rude to people who are paying for the things you sell because they don't know the answer to a question is not the way to go.i watched one of your cashiers almost yell at someone and told her other coworkers to ignore them. She wasn't very pleasant to me aswell. I myself would have raised a stink if she did that to me. Hiring people from different countries is fine with me. But It does not mean they can be Rude disrespectful to Your customers. In summary Start of poor quality produce , Poor customer service in the store on the floor and behind the counter,( I let that one go ) Rude cashiers not good No hand baskets, dont care if people take them home.not everyone has a Lonnie on them. Equals a store that will be closed...
Read moreBAD /POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/THEY LIE ON THEIR PRICES CITY OF BARRIE SHOULD LOOK UP THIS PLACE.
Every time I’ve been to this store, I get really bad experiences. Last year I Got Over priced for Salmon package.
Salmon Package price was $18 . Cashier charged me $25. I only noticed the over charged after Leaving the store. Although I got my money back when I came back to the store, it was a very unpleasant experience.
Another time, I got to the store at 8:45 pm. Door sign says closing time is 9:pm. The door was already closed but I could see customers still shopping, I Tried calling their attention by knocking on the door, many employees saw me knocking but they didn’t bother opening the door. I managed to go inside when a customer came out. I made a complaint to what appears to be a customer service desk by the exit and the lady and man in charge response was very rudely and unprofessional, the man said He didn’t care and he said: “If you don’t like it go to somewhere else, We don’t Need you here”!!! (If you’re reading this you know this is true). It’s a shame! Plus Most of the workers at most departments don’t speak English and they just ignore you and continue walking by when you ask for questions about where to find stuff.
SO If you continue to shop here, BEWARE OF THEIR OVERCHARGING PRICES AT CASHIERS! AND ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON EACH AND EVERY...
Read moreStore was advertised to close at 9. Arrived 30 minutes before and fruits and vegetables removed and covers on all the rest. Same with package meats. I go to pay and cashier refuses to check me out. I had to go to customer service. While I was leaving the store, 6 minutes before the advertised closing time of 9pm, a young man tried to enter and was denied by staff. He was really upset as he clearly just finished work himself and was trying to buy groceries before going home. Terrible service. Also, overpriced products. $12 for tea that Walmart sells for under $7. Avoid like the plague. Price update $12.99 for OJ! $8 for butter $8 for 12 eggs! Over $7 for milk. Why would anyone choose this place over Walmart, No Frills, etc? Terrible place.
Another update I only go here because of my wife. Me personally. I'd never purchased anything from here. A female employee in the fresh fish department took her glove off, picked and wiped her nose, then put her glove back on and touched fish all without washing her hands. A male employee in the butcher department was leaning on the counter, touched his beard with his glove on and then touched meat. Everyone understands that gloves can be contaminated, just like hands, right? Gloves aren't immune to being contaminated. If this is what they do I front of guests, what happens behind the doors in the back where...
