Read moreGood selections of stores, but don't YOU DARE step outside of the parking lot while your vehicle is parked at the mall; the Stat Park company will ticket you for ±65$ for daring to step outside of the parking lot while leaving your vehicle there. The ticket will tell you that you can contest by writing by email, but you will then be told to use the website since no contestation will be accepted by email. And THEN, you will have an angry reply by a frankly impolite employee that treats you like a criminal for DARING to try and reduce CO2 emissions by being efficient and walking to any store, or using the sidewalk to get to another store to get more steps in, and tell you (in a horribly written reply) there is a ZERO TOLERANCE for leaving your vehicle at the far end in the (barely half-full) parking lot.
It's a shame, since it's a nice mall. But I'm never going back there as long as their unmovable and unreasonable policy that goes against smart and efficient use of our resources...
Read moreBeware of STATPARK parking "tickets". They are not really parking tickets authorized by the local government, but look like a municipal parking ticket. The reason they wrote on the "paper" was I parked my car and left the parking lot of the mall. The fact is I had parked the car and went across to some other stores including Tim Hortons, then did come back to the mall to do further shopping. In fact that's what I do in other stores, park near one store, shop in that store as well as other stores. I find the concept of such private parking tickets outrageous, almost an extortion. Beware of STATPARK as they are in many parking lots in the south shore. Beware of any retail that employs STATPARK. These "tickets" are illegal and not enforceable/contestable in courts. However it is a very big business in the area running into hundreds of millions of dollars. Avoid businesses using such predatory...
