This place is absolutely great! You can skate with the lights on up until 10pm. Then, the lights go off and the staff go away. At that point you can play hockey on this pond! If it’s the Spencer Smith Pond I was at last night? Anyhow, I took my wife last night and I would just caution Adults whom aren’t good skaters and or who want to bring younger children to be careful as it turns into a teen shinny game and the hockey is really fast, well fast enough to be intimidating to the average person who doesn’t play hockey regularly.

Very nice place to skate for free, children can skate, parents can walk at the beautiful park. We went there 4pm yesterday, very beautiful sunset, and kids were very happy. Open 10am-10pm, parking free after 4pm. We definitely come back.

Great relaxing area on the waterfront of Burlington. There are members of the Rotary Centennial Pond who controls their wireless boats in this artificial pool. The building has also an indoor seating area and washrooms.

Had a great time ice skating here today I really like that they have someone on duty to check on people if and when they fall although it was very cramped with so many little kids learning to skate. The large plastic rectangles to help them stay up can very effectively knock other...

Came to the pond with my son after work/school. Paid for parking and then headed to the skate/helmet lending hut as my son forgot his helmet at home. Waited and waited but nobody was there. Supposed to be available weeknights 5-10pm. What happened??? What a waste...
