Severely understaffed. It has formula under a lock yet nobody there with the key. You have to pretty much all the time come into the store and get to customer service right away to ask someone with you with the key to walk to formula place which is in the other corner. If you made it there first to see whether they even have it in stock and then decided to search for the stuff with the key to it, good luck. It is so hard. I had to Chace one day one person and he said okay I'll get someone with the key and it passed 15 minutes and noone came. Then I found a woman in shoe department and she said she will find someone with the key and she was stopped by some customers and we'll didn't got anyone for me either. Only when I lost my marbles there waiting for the formula key for half an hour and got and fishes someone else did I got that damn key lady there. Seriously if they don't have stuff in that department at all times, they should have it locked. If it is a security issue get better security. Hire more people for God's sake. They also always pretty much don't have infant advil. They have 2+ years old advil but nothing infant one which is 6mo +. Other than that it is a good big store. People say some come there because it has so much there. It is just mainly frustrating stuffing issue there. People have to drug those poor employees corner to corner all the time and you can see visibly a stress on their faces. Like they are definitely underpaid and yet overworked. Like the managers there for sure riding them to the ground. I bet there is big stuff turn over. If they paid them better and had at least 3 more people on the floor in each shift section like opening and clothing, it would run much better and they would have much happier customers there too. It is so far frustrating for customers to be constantly on the search for employees there to help them out and then once you find them they look exhausted and definitely I can read on their face "I work my ... off for little penny here". Never asked, never been told that but that is the impression I get there. They are stressed out. Too many customers to bugging them and too little...
Read moreLougheed Town Centre is a practical, mid sized mall in Burnaby that has been in transition for(ever) quite some time. While some of its larger anchors, like The Bay, have closed, it still offers everyday essentials with Walmart, London Drugs, Sportchek, and a variety of smaller shops and services. It’s not the kind of place you’d go for high end fashion or luxury brands, and you won’t find trendy chains like Uniqlo or H&M here either, but it works well for errands and quick shopping trips. The food court is straightforward and reliable, with familiar names like A&W, Subway, and Freshslice Pizza alongside a few international options such as Manchu Wok for Chinese take out, Opa! of Greece for Mediterranean flavors, and Shiok Sushi Express for quick Japanese bites. For drinks and treats, you can grab bubble tea at Bubble Waffle Café or something sweet from Dairy Queen and Orange Julius (not in the same food court but it's downstairs by the playground). It’s not a destination for adventurous dining, but it covers the basics and makes it easy to grab a quick meal while shopping or commuting. One of the mall’s biggest strengths is its accessibility. Being directly connected to the Lougheed SkyTrain station makes it one of the most convenient malls in Metro Vancouver, and parking is plentiful and free if you are driving. The atmosphere can feel a little dated in places, but with all the redevelopment happening around it, there’s a sense that the area is evolving into something more vibrant. Overall, currently Lougheed Town Centre isn’t the flashiest shopping destination, but it’s dependable, easy to reach, and practical for...
Read moreOn January 23rd 2019 at approximately 3:30, today I had an emergency so I used the parking closest to Tim Horton and my daughter noticed a couple of crackheads by the parking. She told me that we need to park somewhere else yet it was an emergency so I stayed. As we got out I got threatened by one of the crackheads and told me that "thanks for hitting me with your car" and "I will break and smash your car window right now" infront of my children and used profanity and really nasty words . they also cursed out a lady behind me who absolutely did nothing to them but only saw their reaction and bad words towards me infront of my children . I called for security and I waited in the emergency spot for them. As they approach and come here I tell them my complaint. Regardless, the mall security ignores my concerns and keeps bringing up the fact I was in the emergency parking for not even 5 minutes and I was still there because I was waiting for security. I did not feel safe despite the security being there and the situation was resolved considering my complaint consisted of them disrupting the citizens and not where I'm parked. I'm utterly disappointed and waiting for mall management to take action against this matter and Specially the mall security guy. At a point I felt as if he was a part of those crack heads gang. I spoke to customer service associate, everything went well and I am waiting for their response for this matter. These types of security ppl are unsafe for innocents shoppers and motivation for these type of...
