This farmers market still a gem in our city! Lots of vendors and a good variety of food and cute little stores! Although it can get pretty crowded -which makes sense as it’s one of the few FMs in yyc- you can still have a good time and enjoy a great variety of foods. There is food for all budgets but expect to pay a bit more. For parents with toddlers I recommend arriving earlier as it can get busy and you don’t want kids getting lost and you running after them in a crowded place. They do have a cute play structure! But you I’ll need to supervise your little ones as they are older kids who might not place nicely to little ones. Always a good idea to arrive early morning or late afternoon. We got there around 2:30 and it was a bit stressful with the kiddos but by 4pm it got less busy, in the play structure at least. Bring your stroller for sure :) My fave stands here are the donut 🍩 shop and the coffee shops and the fruit and veggies stands and the olive one. I guess I have a lots of favourites in here

We visit this market regularly. We have for quite some time. All the vendors are amazing. We love to have a nibble here often too…the Christmas market adds a nice festive touch with the tables of homemade Xmas gift ideas scattered around the market. We have many favorite booths. They are all good. Food wise…we have not been disappointed. Sampling items is always fun. The bakery is amazing. The meat vendors are high end and we get beef, pork and chicken there. The organic store is terrific. The veggie stores are fab …we have three favorites. Our new fave is Lucs. We found a fella there that is very knowledgeable on cheeses…we have a dairy allergy in the fam …the two of us had a great convo with one of their chefs, he guided us and we had some tastings and left with happy bellies. They will definately become our regular cheese supplier. Calgary market gets 5 plus stars from us on every visit.

This is such an amazing market. We could spend hours in here but with the limited time we had we manage to browse quickly and bought many things; cherries, beer, salami. There are many many, stalls and our favourite had to be Eau Claire Distillery. The one in charge of the stall was so welcoming and she really made our day. She had so much passion for the products that we can’t help falling in love with them as well. Their cocktails in a can was so amazing and I wished we could buy the lot but because we were travelling, we could only get like 18 cans. We also manage to get something to eat and we tried the Big T’s BBQ & Smokehouse. We got a beef brisket sandwich and it came with a side (we chose hush puppies). It was smoky and the meat was done just right. Highly recommended! Please ensure that this is on your list if you are visiting Calgary.

Just visited the market today. It was my first time there and to be honest I wasn’t impressed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good market, but I was expecting more of fresh vegetables, fruits, and berries. There are a lot of places to grab a bite, however being on a very strict diet (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free) it was really hard for me to find something. There was one place that had buckwheat (gluten-free) crepes, but the fillings were not for me. Also there was a gluten-free bakery, but I found most of their product non-appealing. Overall, fun family experience, but I wouldn’t go there every weekend to shop.

Really love coming here! One of my favourite places is Crafted! Love that they offered Eli Attitudes a place within their beautiful shop ❤️ Some other favourites on the list are Highfield (Organic Cotton Toques) and The crystal shop there ☺️ We also do a lot of our grocery shopping here ❤️ Love when pickling season comes around and the abundance of Organic veggies available. 🍄🫑🥕 Analog offers great Chai's and Chilito's has THEE best salsa, guac and pico de gallo. There are tons of Vegan options at the market, which is really nice. The tzatziki at 2 Greek Gals is amazing! And it's vegan as well :)
