Luxury Market Consignment Boutique — Attraction in Charlottetown

I have typically had good service and have loved popping into this store but unfortunately, had awful service today. It was the first time I had dealt with this sales person.

At about 4 PM today I came into the store as I saw from my online consigner account that I had an item “in grace” that I wanted to pick up and also wanted to enquire as to how to receive the money I had made off of my items that sold. The sales associate ignored me as I stood at the cash area for the first few minutes (they were not helping anyone). When they finally came over, they did not ask how they could help or say hello. I explained my situation and was told that I could find my item on the floor but they would not be helping me. When I followed up about asking how I would receive my compensation for the items that sold the associate mumbled something about the owner being away. After I pressed a bit more — trying to understand how this possibly made sense — the associate gave me the money for the items. I then proceeded to look for my “in grace” item. When the associate saw that it was one of the higher priced items in the store they quickly became more friendly and asked if they could reduce the price and keep the item. I responded no and left the store.

This has got to be the coolest clothing store east of Quebec City. If you’re looking for luxury style bags/clothing/footwear and sweet random finds; they’ve got everything! And at really great price; the expensive items are a great deal and they now even have a $10 rack for items that have been there a longer time = amazing finds.

Not to mention… it’s a consignment store; so if you have some beautiful luxury items of your own - bring them in! Nothing better than a sweet store and when you’re at check out, you already have money there waiting for you. I’d highly recommend not only shopping but consigning with luxury market - I’ve only had amazing experiences.

The only complaint I have is that this place is in PEI, and not closer to where I live in Ontario!

My partner and friend and I were visiting Charlottetown and walked by this store and I just had to go in. The items are beautifully displayed, and you could tell the owner really has an eye for style. There was a large variety of items at a range of different prices. I love that they are size inclusive as well.

I had a blast shopping here, and the owner helped accessorize some of the outfits. I got a couple of dresses, paid of shoes, belt and lounge wear. It was such a fun experience shopping here, I could have spent hours looking for treasures!
