Definitely a unique experience in a good way. The atmosphere, service & food were spectacular for sure. I saw this place on Tiktok when I was searching for a dinner location while travelling for work. This one definitely seemed like a fun and delicious option. The atmosphere - It is a really unique and inviting atmosphere and feels quite comfortable. Did not quite look up to how I saw on the Tiktoks but most likely that is due to the sunlight being out and not giving the full effects of the lights and everything there. It was a fun spot though for sure. I love the wall of posters especially the play on words for duck/goose for movie posters. (See Photos) The washrooms were fun and you are able to write on the walls using I presume chalk markers. This was fun but the fact was that they were also only in one washroom and most of them were left with the caps off so a little on the dry side. The best part was leaving the washroom and immediately noticing the holes in the wall. There were mice! (See Photos) It was my favourite part of the experience as it was so unexpected and so fun to see. They need it all over the restaraunt haha. The service - We booked onto the waitlist which was about 15 minutes approx. We got in the door and then two other parties also did and that is when it started to get crowded. Not much waiting room which they cannot fix but just to keep in mind if there is inclement weather. Our main server was I believe Amber was her name and she was amazing and quite attentive with her job. The food - The main reason for coming here was definitely the food. We started with the loaded onion dip with dill pickle kettle chips. I definitely did not taste any dill on them but other than that is was good. Definitely a heavier appy and I think a small appy fork would do wonders to assist with getting it on the fork without breaking a chip or making a mess. I enjoyed the PB&J Burger which was phenomenal. It was so good and definitely a highlight. Especially with the crispiness of the smash burgers and super moist. My fiance had The O.G Smash Burger and it was as well very good. A simple burger so not hard to mess up so it was as expected. We also enjoyed a Flight of Dips for our fries and it was good. I quite enjoyed the Creole Ranch as it was so delicious I pretty much ignored the rest. Then my fiance had the clear long island iced tea which was good but way strong which was a little offputting but...

Steven's... it was a rollercoaster. First off, the food and drinks? Top-notch. The menu is all kinds of creative, with names that'll crack you up. Would have definitely loved to have seen them add a couple more simple veggie options, like a veggie patty? Such a simple thing to open up your menu to so many other people.

The vibe? Spot on. Great decor, friendly service, cool washrooms...but then, the prices...

We're talking $18 for two tacos. No sides, no nothing. Just tacos. Good, sure, but that's nuts. I was feeling adventurous since it was my first time, so I added waffle fries and the hot Cheetos corn cup - it looked too cool not to try. I even joked with the server about my eyes being bigger than my belly, and I'd definitely need a to-go box. In reality, I ended up wolfing it all down, then rolled next door to The Pie Hole. I kid you not, there was probably 6-8 waffle fries in this tiny container. It was almost insulting.

But here's the kicker: in a world where we're all doing our best to be more eco-friendly, they're serving corn cups and popcorn in disposable plastic cups. Not cool.

Would I go back? I want to. The food and vibes were great. But those prices? They're out of control. It's not just a bit steep. It's very out of whack. For a couple of tacos, 6-8 waffle fries, and a side of corn, dropping over 30 bucks is nuts. They've gotta figure this out, because I feel like there's going to be a lot more one-and done first time customers.

Their OG restaurant, Haven, a much higher end fancy joint has a burger made with bradner farms organic beef, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, burger sauce, dill pickles, red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, toasted brioche bun, hand cut sea salted fries for $22.50. The "Single Smash Burger" at Stevens, (single smash patty, american cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato, mustard sauce, peppercorn mayo) would be $26.00 if you added waffle fries to make it a meal. No organic beef, no real cheddar cheese...but it's more?

I have sympathy for restauranteurs. Food prices are higher than ever before. I managed a group of restaurants for ten years, up until about a year ago. I know food costing. Something here isn't clicking...I think I'd need to see a 20-25% drop in prices before I could make this a regular on my...

The one star rating is for the eye catching decor they have set up inside the pub .. sadly that was the only good thing about this place .

I never go out of my way to make a bad review about somewhere .. but this place is just awful . I have gone twice now because I was hoping the first time was a one-off experience but unfortunately it is just how this place operates !

I went with a friend the first time and ordered the smash burger and cup of corn . The corn I enjoyed but they removed that off the menu now ! Shame because it was the only thing that was decent . The smash burger was super mid .. nothing special and my food arrived cold because our server I think forgot about it ? So then I ordered a drink and we waited THIRTY MINUTES in an EMPTY pub while the bartender took selfies and chatted with another girl who worked there I believe .. to get our drinks . The drink I had was also disgusting . I could barely get it down . Had to grab a side of juice to swallow it .

Then my boyfriend mentioned he wanted to go for the smash burgers as he saw a video online and so I agreed to try it again - well we waited an hour for our food this time . We watched 3 people who ordered after us get our food before us . Then ours arrived and my fries were over cooked and crunchy and the burger yet again was cold and bland . Our server this time was nice but they had the audacity to offer us 10% off our order on our next visit . I left the discount card on the table as we don’t plan on returning . That was quite the slap in the face after everyone was apologetic about how long it was taking the kitchen . I work in the hospitality industry as well and I would have comp’d our meal no question . Horrid experience . And after reading the comments the owner has left on these reviews it seems like they aren’t very professional . Don’t waste your money . With the rate they are at this place won’t be running for long unless if they make some drastic...

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Hostess greeted us immediately and asked if we wanted outside or inside. We sat inside. We got the five-o puffy tacos to start: the taco shell was delicious but the pork filling was very dry. It had some cilantro, onions and taco sauce. The filling was very tasty but dry. I'd try the tacos again but a different filling. I tried the super trooper chicken burger: delicious!! A crispy breaded chicken on a Lee's donut. The chicken was very well seasoned, the donut surprisingly didn't taste too sweet paired with the savoury fillings. I'd definitely get it again. I got the gas station nachos as my side dish, tbh they are exactly what you'd expect with a name like that lol. Hit the spot! I had a virgin/alcohol free "orange Julius" drink: creamy, orangey and refreshing. I wish they had it as a blended option, but it appears they don't have blenders? Their blended drinks must use a slush machine. My partner got the Smashburger with matchstick fries: again delicious, a bit on the smaller side for a burger but still filling. The fries were crispy and very well seasoned. We got the "dip flight" and it was good, sweet and sour sauce was a miss but I think it's because it didn't pair with anything we got. The music wasn't loud/or I didn't notice if they had any. Seats are close but not too close. Comfy. Lots of funky decor and lighting. The only thing I'd like to see is better non-alcohol drink options. Unfortunately they didn't have a dedicated mocktail menu. I would have happily tried a bunch of different drinks if they were available as the other cocktails looked quite creative. I'd love to see what they could come up with. Our server was great. Had some great drink recommendations for me

Fun little place with entertaining decor and good food/drinks. Definitely worth a visit! To start, I got the 5-Alive Mimosa which was nice and sweet, with a touch of sour and a refreshing amount of bubbles from the prosecco. I also got to try the Crystal Clear Long Island Ice Tea but it was quite strong and sweet. The Joe Exotic drink was very tasty, nice and fruity, with a little pick-me-up from the Redbull. As for food, my options were limited to three choices as a main, since I’m pescatarian. There was a quesadilla that could be made vegetarian (with refried beans instead of pork), two tacos (one fish, one mushroom), a salad that could potentially be modified to be without bacon, and about five different Starters (one containing shrimp) to choose from. I ordered the Counterfeit Pulled Pork puffy tacos, and although I’m not a huge fan of barbecue sauce - I was pleasantly surprised by this. The sauce was sweet and not overly tangy, the mushrooms were chewy and the taco shell was unique. Their waffle fries are also very good, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, a bit greasy though but that’s bar food! The pricing is what I’d say to be at a mid level but majority of the things on the menu - you won’t find anywhere else, so it’s all part of the experience. Our server (a shorter brunette) was lovely, though I didn’t catch her name. She informed us that Steven’s would be revamping their menu, based on feedback from customers. They’ve already started serving sides with their main dishes, which I appreciate. And even have a fairly new happy hour menu (from 2-6pm). Only thing I think they’re missing is some sweet options to end the evenings with 😋
