This had to be the worst hotel I had ever stayed at. I had booked one night at this hotel last summer and I can say it’s the most unprofessional and rude hotel I had ever stayed at. I had a booked a room 2 weeks before my stay and had called on 3 separate occasions confirming my stay and my price, and one of those times were the night before, being assured by the staff which was very friendly up to that point, that I had a room and everything was alright. There was nothing special about the room or stay so when I had arrived the next day I was surprised my reservation was given up because of overbooking. The front desk person had told me and my family which included a 2 year old that we could stay at the best western for a higher price and that there is nothing they could do. They explained that even though I confirmed 3 times, my reservation was given up to someone walking in and wanting a room. The front staff was very rude and were not helpful at all, it wasn’t till after some arguing and explaining that I had a 2 year old and travelling with children is very exhausting that they finally gave us a room. When I got to the room, the bathroom was covered in hair and it had random stains everywhere, super gross. I get it the hotel is on the cheaper side and little bit run down but damnn i was surprised at how bad the room was and I stayed in some pretty bad hotels before. When we called the front desk to have some one clean it up we were met with rudeness and reluctance, even though I told the front desk if they needed to clean a room we could wait an hour or two. And to the one front desk lady we understand Punjabi, you saying those awful and mean things to us thinking we speak some other language was incredibly unprofessional and rude, you should not have a job at a hotel if you get mad at people asking questions.
Also, I know that the casino is separate but to the rent a cop security guard at the casino downstairs in the lobby, I hope you get fired. The security guard, downstairs at 11 pm had told my wife that she would call the police for loitering as we waited for our food we ordered from the restaurant in the casino, I get it your friends with the front staff at the hotel and wanted to get back at us. I had asked the restaurant staff if you guys always call police for waiting the lobby of the hotel and they had told me that, that never happens and we are allowed to stay in the lobby as we are guests of the hotel. So you useless gesture to exercise what little power you have didn’t really have any merit.
I never complain and never in a public setting but this was one of the worst hotels I ever had the misfortune of staying at. If you want to casino and hotel combined go to river rock hotel it’s a lot better. I don’t really gamble but it’s probably a better casino...

Advised when checking in at 3 that they oversold the rooms and our booking we made months prior for 2 Queens was changed to a 1 King because they were saving the 2 Queens for bookings with more people. When I said I wasn’t comfortable sharing a bed with the person I’m travelling with, she said the only option was they could give us a second set of sheets. Also the next afternoon I realized my drivers license was still at the front desk from when I checked in, I had already driven hours away and called to ask if they could mail it to me. I was told no I had to come back. I said I was hours away, can’t they throw it in an envelope or something and bill me for the stamp? She said she would ask her manager tomorrow and hung up the phone while I was asking if I should call back tomorrow or if they’d contact me. I ended up asking a friend in the area to go pick it up to mail it to me. —— Original review: Surprisingly a bit disappointed with our stay. Our room wasn’t very clean when we checked in, hairs on the side tables and desks, bathroom counters and floors and inside the tub. Some definitely full length human hairs and other short ones that may have belonged to dogs. Also toothpaste on the floor and lots of dirt in all the corners. Tons of homeless people camped out along the parking lot, also shooting up in plain sight. Had to park further away so we weren’t parked literally a metre from someone sitting with a needle in his hand. The alarm kept going off starting at 6am which really sucked because we spent the prior day driving 12 hours, couldn’t figure out how to turn off the alarm finally traced the cord to just unplug it. Bed was comfortable, internet connection was good, mini fridge in room, there’s a Starbucks in the lobby, and Cascades casino attached. Booked far in advance for the long weekend and the price was good, but really turned off by the amount of hair and...
