Giving the place a star at all is being generous. I took my mom for lunch on Wednesday. No menus at table so we stood at the board to choose then order at cash desk. As we sat to wait for lunch, I expected the traditional chips and salsa, none came. When I asked about it the server said they were trying to cut costs during covid as chicken and beef were so expensive. I said chips are cheap. Mom ordered chicken enchiladas which was a good sized portion coming with re-fried beans and rice. Tortillas so chewy she couldn't eat them so picked the chicken out. I ordered chicken Fajitas; the tortillas were so heated they were crispy and dry. The pan no longer sizzling had obviously been sitting for some time in the kitchen as things were cold and looked like leftovers. The chicken so over cooked it was dried right out and the portion of the entire pan very small. Once we received our food we didn't see our server again. We went up to cash desk to pay, our server asking how everything was. I told him I wouldn't be back and this was not my first time there. I explained how the food was and he said he would tell the kitchen. I told him chips and salsa, a nice thing at the table were cheap and it was important, especially during covid to maintain the quality of the food. No response. I don't like writing negative reviews but when you pay over $40.00 for lunch something...

Walking in felt like home (AZ), the decor is fantastic, sunny spots to sit & patio, but shaded and lit beautifully in the back.

Always hunting for great Mexican in 🇨🇦 from growing up by the 🇲🇽 border. Hard to find places that come close in canada. It's 4th I found worth going to. I tried the enchiladas shredded beef w horchata.

Mole sauce was to die for, made per order 😍 the food was very filling so high fat content.

Their spiciest hot sauce wasn't hot enuf for me but had nothing wrong w it.

I woulda liked to try margaritas but was on a budget. Horchata in LA was phenom! Haven't found a good one since, 7 yrs. It's homemade + tasted right. Huge cup. Strong on the granulated sugar which took over the rice milk base a little too much, still wonderful, not watery.

The service was a little spaced out which was okay cus I was still taken care of, guaranteed they wouldn't have minded if I had to hail for refills etc. They had a fair amount of people, I was by myself in the corner, so I understood.

Wish I was given to go container for my $4 mole sauce🤤 & cup 4 my half full drink. I poured it in a corner of the container instead of stealing the sauce dish, left drink behind. Hate wasting.

Compliments to the Cook, food was very good and taste was authentic, then why the one star you wonder. The food was the only good thing about this place. The service was awful, first the waitress forgets to put our order in after sitting there for nearly 40 minutes being ignored, finally comes over and apologizes for forgetting our order we place order again and ask for a second drink, waitress stated that our diner would be on the house and that it would be 9-11 rushed out, well three more tables came in and were served before our 9-11 rush order and took again my girlfriend having to ask for our drink and food another 30 minutes later we finally get our drinks and still another 20 till we received our diner. Now thinking our meal was comped and that we would only have to pay for our drinks the owner apologizes and stated we are giving you 10 percent off , what a joke I would have walked out a long time before this and went two doors down to one of the other two nearby Mexican restaurants instead of waiting. It’s to bad because like I said the food was very good. But it just doesn’t make up for the terrible service, we will not be returning and had they comped the meal I’m sure we would have given the place...
