The salmon migration in Bowmanville Creek is a stunning natural spectacle that should not be missed. Walking along the trail while observing the salmon run is both peaceful and exhilarating. The vibrant energy of the fish as they navigate upstream is a testament to nature's beauty. However, I did notice a few illegal fishing practices during my visit, which was concerning. It’s essential for everyone to respect the fishing regulations to protect this incredible event and the ecosystem. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for nature lovers, and I hope the community can work together to maintain the health of the creek for future...

This spot isn't anything special. I expected to see some spectacular salmon leaping, but I only saw a bunch of salmon clustered together. I wonder if there were a lot of dead fish upstream, as the road from the parking lot to the river had a strong stench. There were so many tourists that there was almost no parking

First time visit, and we tried our luck to see some salmon migration up the creek ladder but couldn’t find even a single one. Overall nicely maintained and it has a nice walking trail next to the creek. Should be a fun place if we could see some Salmon migration. May be late April or May we get some!
