Three Six Kitchen — Restaurant in Clarington

This place is amazing!! I have been going to Three Six Kitchen for a few years now and they have never let me down. The food is always perfect! The flavour and quality of ingredients is impeccable and the service always knocks it out of the park!

When the pandemic protocols were first implemented, my partner and I took them very seriously and began grocery shopping in 14 day cycles and making all of our own meals. When we decided that we felt comfortable with exploring options to get out of cooking once and a while we immediately decided on Three Six. The quality and care that has always gone into their food along with the protocols they put in place for curb side pickup made for the safest and tastiest option around!!!! Wednesday night date night has become a staple in our household, with raving reviews coming from my partner about the Buttermilk Fried Chicken :). I personally have changed it up every week and have sampled almost everything that has cycled through the menu and it is all delicious!!! During normal times these guys get 5 stars from me all day. With the way they have adapted and continue to provide awesome meals at the same standard as always has secured them in my #1 recommendation for eats in Bowmanville and surrounding area!

I had the pleasure of visiting this venue for a long, relaxed and very enjoyable lunch. The environment is contemporary, comfortable and very colourful with all the cool and unusual art displayed on the walls. First of all, Kevin, who is a knowledgeable, professional and friendly server, made us feel immediately welcome. He could not have been better... He checked in when needed, and let my lunch-mate and I share our time in an umrushed and comfortable manner. And the food... WOW! We started with charcuterie and cheeses, all of which were fresh, flavourful and delicious. I was crazy about the house-made mustard. And my lunch-mate was mad for the house-made pineapple hot sauce. So fresh and yummy! We then shared a super juicy and lunscious chicken sandwich on beautiful house-made bread, which was divine. And then the cheesecake (recommended, as with all the cheese and charcuterie, by Kevin) was out-of-this-world. I’ve sampled lots of different cheesecakes in my time. Came here for my husband's birthday last night and it was such a nice experience! They had the date night special on where you get an appetizer and dessert to share and each get to choose a main course. We got the calamari as our starter and it was really good, flavourful and crispy. I got the bison sausage and shrimp pasta, it was so tasty and the tomato sauce it was in was delicious as well. My husband got the schnitzel sandwich which he really enjoyed. We got the peach crumble for dessert and it was SO yummy. It was tart and also sweet as well. Our server was so nice and friendly as well. Would defintely come back.

Update Aug 28 2025 I called at around 5 yesterday on the off chance we might get a table for dinner and the staff were very accommodating and fit us in at 6. Brandie was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the date night menu. I got the meatloaf and potato cake as my main and my husband got the pulled pork Mac and cheese.
