Dags & Willow Fine Cheese and Gourmet Shop — Attraction in Collingwood

We had the absolute pleasure of having our small wedding ceremony at Dags & Willow in their beautiful Willow Room, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From start to finish, the service was exceptional — warm, professional, and full of genuine care. The Willow Room itself is a stunning space — elegant, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. It created the perfect atmosphere for our special day, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it. A special shoutout to the bartender (apologies I am horrible with names), who was not only incredibly quick and efficient but also wonderfully friendly. I never felt I was without a drink even when I didn't ask or ever waiting any amount of time for one. They handled everything with such grace and attention to detail — it made a big difference and didn’t go unnoticed. To the entire team at Dags & Willow: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding ceremony day feel so seamless, joyful, and full of love. You helped create memories we’ll treasure forever.

I would not recommend going there. The owner is ignorant and during this pandemic they make you grab a basket even if you are only going in for one thing behind the counter. I asked not to have a basket and I was told that wasn’t possible. After leaving my basket the owner rudely asked me to pick it up and was extremely aggressive in his tone. Furthermore I called in a head and asked if I could pre order the one cheese I wanted and they said they weren’t taking pre orders as they would rather the people come directly in the store to shop??? How is this covid friendly? Honestly in these times this is absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend going there especially during this pandemic. Wow! So glad they've reopened their doors! The best selection of cheeses in the region. Service on the other hand not so good. They bark at you the second you walk in to follow protocols. Fair enough.... However, their staff didnt change their gloves once while we were visiting. Infact, one lady went from sweeping the floor and handling a dustpan, to promptly cutting our cheese. No change of gloves, No handwashing.... From dirty broom to fine cheese. We opted out, and pointed out their lax in covid protocols. They were defensive and nearly speechless.
