This is a very late review. We went to funbox last year with my 4 years old son. We are planning to go this year as well and I wanted to share our experience with everyone.
Our son enjoyed his time at funbox to the maximum, and he is asking to go again. Also our experience was positive and that’s why we are planning to go again this year as well.
Some points from our experience are:
Check the weather before making the reservation. Even if it’s super hot, it could be difficult to be at play area, since it’s a fully open place. We booked the general ticket, and didn’t make any VIP reservation. This ticket gave enough time for the little one to enjoy (well, kids can play entire day even, that’s a different story). We accompanied our kid. This is important since we need to ensure our kid’s safety. If my memory is correct, we need to sign some disclaimer at the time of booking. Carry a water bottle with you. And try to get some small breaks in between. They sold some ice packs there and my son absolutely loved it. Buy the socks from the gate. It’s important to ensure safety. They open the gate sharp at the given time. Hence ensure to be there before opening time. There is no place to keep your valuables. So if you’re planning to go inside and stay with your little ones, make sure to take a proper bag that’s easy...
Read moreIt was fun but the slides need a burlap sac as you get plastic burn like rug burn so wear pants but at 30 degree heat you really don’t want too . Also need to shade the bounce area. The bounce plastic is burning on the skin. And hot to touch . So recommend don’t go on a hot day. They had shaded seats but bar stools too tall for kids. A little more shaded area would have been great and a shaded ground picnic area . The shoe keeper was great except as it was closed in it was very smelly and felt like a sauna . They should also offer teen time or teen night . Parking was free and lots of it great bonus. Concession offered the right kind of snacks , water , sport drink and freezie as in any place a bit pricy . Recommend to bring your water bottle . And they should offer bottle refill station but did not . Price was reasonable for 80 min and it’s enough time before everyone is wiped out. Missed jousting wasn’t offered . But advertised in photos area was clean Should have offered hand sanitizer too. Parents just coming to supervise had to pay $30 I feel that was a bit much . Maybe $16 as it was made for kids . We have to be there but don’t jump , But over all fun yes good . Regarding buying tickets on online in advance don’t need to but makes ...
Read moreWe recently visited Fun Box 💫😄🤸✨️💯 with three kids and two adults, and we had an absolute blast! 🤸🤸🤪Our slot was the first of the day at 10:30 AM, which turned out to be a great choice as the venue was clean and well-prepared for us. The kids couldn't get enough of the various bouncy attractions, and even the adults had a great time joining in on the fun.
Our favorite part was the obstacle course—it was thrilling and engaging for everyone! The kids loved racing through it, and we adults couldn't resist joining in for some friendly competition.
Parking was easy and convenient, which made the visit stress-free right from the start. Additionally, there's a Coquitlam Centre shopping mall right in front of the venue, providing plenty of options for grabbing a bite to eat or doing a bit of shopping after the bouncing fun.
One concern, however, was the presence of toddlers. Even though there is a special spot designated for them, they seemed to be everywhere, which we found pretty dangerous. It would be great if there could be better supervision or clearer boundaries to keep the little ones safe and separate from the more intense areas.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would still highly recommend Fun Box 💯🤸🫶😄 for a fun...
