Brightwood Golf & Country Club — Attraction in Dartmouth

Poor - mediocre experience in the sit-down area of their bar. We were only there to try their Burger Week burger. We were shown around by a very friendly gentleman, and chose our seats. Our orders were taken and we asked for waters. It took approximately 10 minutes to receive our waters after watching our waiter watching the TV in the bar. Our orders arrived, and they got 1 out of 4 orders wrong (meat patty given to the vegetarian). We waited 20 minutes for her new burger, and asked for takeout containers after eating. Back when. I believe it was 1986, I was with US Navy on board the USS Capodanno FF1093. The taxi driver took Bright Wood CC, I was able to play around with the course pro, a doctor and his daughter. We had a blast, alittle rainy but ok.. I was invited to have brunch after the 18 holes. To this day, I still boast about the hospitality and food in which I enjoyed very much. Brightwood Golf & Country Club hosted our wedding ceremony, reception and dinner - and from the outset, everything was superlative.

Our event co-ordinator, Tina Dickson, is the epitome of professionalism, coupled with friendliness and concern. Every single guest commented on how perfect everything was, that the food was delicious and how excellent the service was.
