Read morePart of the Tiger Dunlop trail. Free parking at the south end of the bridge- walk up the gravel path for a stunning view of the golf course on the right/east. Lots of birds. The bridge is amazing and there are some historical signs. On the left/west side, at the north end is a loop trail - no distance but I would say maybe 2km? It is mostly flat and easy to follow. It follows the river at first, so you can see (and hear) the salt mine facilitates. I thought it would bring us to a nice view of Lake Huron, but no. It’s all woods. There are plenty of parking near the site, and the trail is always clean. Benches a long the way offers a nice place to sit for a coffee or a quick snack, and the people of Goderich are very pleasant and you will always be met with a warm greeting along other hikers on the trail.
