Im following up as this is continuing to get more and more upsetting. Domenic Commisso is my husband, your employee dealt with me today, Isabella Chandar. In actuality, I only spoke up because your employee didnt advise to me he would be charging me a service fee to tape my shipment. I was not upset at him for needing to purchase a package sleeve and I was more than willing to pay for that aspect. When he was cashing me out he said “I am charging you for the service fee and package”. In my response I asked why I wasnt advised I would be charged for him taping my package as I have never been told this at other UPS locations. I advised if I had known I would have done it myself. Your employee REFUSED service at this point, I didnt refuse to pay nor did I ever say I wasnt going to pay - I simply asked why I wasnt advised of the service fee ahead of time. I asked him why and he said because I had an attitude. Charging customers for unnecessary services seems to be an issue at this store as other reviews have mentioned being charged for emailing documents to print and not being told until the end. Ironically after I was upset (not yelling or swearing, just firm) thats when he said in-front of your “witness” he was going to waive the service fee. If that was the case he shouldnt have said “I am charging you”. I also asked for the managers number and your employee continued to say hes not here although I was simply asking for the managers number. Your “witness” also wasnt there for the entire conversation. I dont understand why he was contacted to “testify” - this isnt going to court.
I love that the “manager” is very big on defending his staff from the “video footage” and is describing in detail in a google review his employees experience, but nothing was mentioned that the same footage would have seen I was there with my newborn baby, freshly postpartum. I explained this to your employee and he responded saying “what?!” Nor is there any mention that your employees service caused me to break down emotionally and leave the store and Walmart crying because of how attacked and defeated I felt. Leaving the house with a newborn is hard enough, much less dealing with people with no consideration.
I am confident if my husband had been there, this level of disrespect from the employee and “witness” who was also a male, wouldnt have occurred. Its unfortunate we live in a world where women are ridiculed for asking questions and standing up for themselves. I hope you think about this and consider this the next time you have a customer who is pregnant or a mother with a small child. I guarantee she has enough going on emotionally and mentally and would truly appreciate some consideration from you, not adding more emotional...
Read moreI wanted to give this store a good rating. I have used their services with Ravneet for about 9 months. They know a typical need to print quality. I could tell something odd was going on because they started to get very smart and slick first offering me coupons for stuff I never asked then they don't show up. Then today it got really weird as the newer lady was getting very mad about me interrupting her summer vacation. Ive never seen a store look like they want to close more! While Ive been sympathetic to people who are learning English before there has to be more respect to the customer. Who is going to wait 20 minutes at 11 AM here? There was all attitude and they know it. Don't call the customer who is literally working and can't do your job for you! Wow! I am willing to bet the people who don't want the new hires to have any knowledge to advance, they cower behind them. You're lucky I gave you any business before. Never coming back here! As someone who has had business that employed UPS STORE my advice is to time how long it take you once you ask for one job here and see how long it takes. Crickets and nobodies home. Funny enough I had a package delivered by them from Chicago, just outside actually, ordered my Item and 2 days later it made it's way to Chi Town, where it sat in a UPS warehouse til the 15th, I ordered on the 8th, then it shipped to customs where it sat for 3 days, then 3 days later made it across the border and it took 8 hrs to make it from the border to me which ii half the distance to Illinois lol.
