Read moreThis was our first beach experience in Kelowna and it was great! Beach was a bit far from the paid parking lots (park/field in between). There are washroom and changeroom facilities here. We managed to snag a shady spot on the beach so didn't need our umbrella. The sand is hot! In the water there are lots of sharp jagged rocks and my 6 year old cut the bottom of his foot one one - thankfully it didn't bleed to much.
This beach is a great location - close to waterfront and boardwalk that you can walk to. Or if you just feel like staying on the beach there was a volleyball net setup.

Read moreThis is a fantastic beach in Kelowna, it's kind of our "main beach", close walk to the vibrant downtown and a great view. They have volleyball courts set up on the sand, an wonderful old school playground, really nice grassy fields, and a soccer pitch.
In the summer, there are many vendors set up along the walkway that winds along the water all the way to the grand hotel. A must do when visiting Kelowna!
