Kelowna Fruit n Veggies — Attraction in Kelowna

I visited the store this Thursday around 10:40 a.m. and purchased a watermelon, peaches, corn, and a cantaloupe.

I was very pleased with the quality of the watermelon, peaches, and corn that I personally selected. However, the cantaloupe was handed to me by a staff member, who confidently recommended it and said it was "very sweet and delicious." Trusting their recommendation, I bought it.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst cantaloupes I’ve ever eaten. It was not sweet at all, very dry, and lacked the crisp texture you’d expect. I shared it with several of my coworkers, and every single one of them agreed that it tasted terrible. What made the experience even more frustrating was that this cantaloupe cost nearly three times more than what I would have paid at a regular supermarket.

While I appreciate this store’s usual focus on quality, this experience left me very disappointed and frustrated. This is my honest review...

I love this farm! They always have fresh fruits and vegetables. I discovered that place a couple of years ago when I was looking for the really ripe and tasty watermelon, and I found it there, and not just one, but several types. Red, orange, and even yellow. All types are very sweet and tasty. I recommend everyone to try them. There are many other delicious things there. Melons, peaches, strawberries, zucchini. They also have a bees farm and sell honey! Oh, and here's another thing. You'll hardly find sweeter corn than the one on this farm. My kids eat it like crazy! I highly recommend that place...

My friend and I decided to try our luck at their corn maze, and to our surprise, they had a murder mystery game to go along with it, where as you walk through the maze, you look for clues and this made a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend. Maybe for Halloween, they could do a time frame in the evening where they could possibly provide flashlights to guests or leading up to it share the news about what they plan and recommend bringing a flashlight with you and provide flashlights to those who don’t for a slight charge. I’m sure it will be fun just like it was today. Look forward to going...
