No stroller policy ? Ive been to this Coras on a few occasions, with my infant daughter who is under 4months. Today my family and I wanted to go for a family breakfast outing and when we asked for a booth we were informed they had a NO STROLLER policy ? Im had to repeat it out loud when the hostess told me as Id never heard of such a thing in a family orientated redtaurant before. It wasnt even busy, many open tables maybe a 1/4 full. I asked if i could bring it to/beside a table and was told no, she said that i could leave it by entrance and hold my 4 month old if I wanted. Of course i said no, because i wouldnt put it past someone to take a new stroller, and where was i to keep my fully stuffed diaper bag then anyhow? There is no designed stroller area nor any sort of sign showing this policy in sight - and i looked. I asked if we couldnt just sit in the back area as there was absolutely no one there, and was told no - they arent seating in that area today. So i started loudly commenting on this no stroller policy, enough that the families there started paying attention, and where shocked to hear this information and lo and behold the manager came out and allowed us into the back area to eat.love the food but will never go back, and if you have a stroller go somewhere else - people in wheelchairs or need supportive tools better phone ahead, they may have policies...
Read moreCame in with my family recently and when I ordered I made it 110% clear that I had a strawberry allergy and that no contact or cross contamination could be accepted or I might react. Our server assured me it would not be a problem. When our food came, a different server dropped off the plates, she looked at me and said, “this one has no strawberries for the person with the allergy correct?” I said “yes that’s me!” and she set it down and left. I noticed immediately that there was red residue all over the pineapple and cantaloupe, and a bit of red juice smeared around on the plate. It was clear that someone had put strawberries on my plate along with the other fruit and simply picked them off. I called our server over and confirmed that was indeed what had happened. Then she asked if the entire thing should be re-made. Obviously yes... All said and done, they were super fast about replacing the order and apologized profusely and assured me they’d be much more attentive this time - but at that point I was shocked it had happened at all. What if I hadn’t noticed the juice residue on the plate? I chose not to escalate the issue since everyone was so quick to remove and replace the plate after I complained - another customer might not be so vigilant though and that’s why I’m not giving a 5 star review, which I otherwise would have. PLEASE TAKE ALLERGIES...
Read moreWent to court today for breakfast I had eggs benedict and my wife had are Rosemary Sunday. My wife's food was ice cold and mine was lukewarm. I ate mine reluctantly and my wife returned hers to get a new Rosemary Sunday that was hot. When she got it back she had no toast and the onions for her hash browns were not ready yet so she slowly started to eat and only a little bit of onions came back a long time after. The toast was still not ready but he eventually came and by then the food was cold again. We ended up leaving and paying only for my eggs benedict and two coffees with tax it came to $27 and change. As we were leaving we grabbed the managers business card and called him. The manager was not available at that time but did call her back an hour later. The manager has really really really bad customer service skills and I would not recommend Cora's restaurant for anybody simply because the managers customer service skills are terrible. We will never ever go back to Cora's the experience was that bad. the manager said oh well you've only had one bad day out of however many times you've been here that's not bad. What kind of...
