The two-stars speak for my review. I took 1 star off as there's still a room for improvement. But there's a but.
Do consider tasteless noodles a personal preference. As a typical Asian, I'm not really into super tasty soup tbh. I found my Wonton Noodle Soup tasteless but I liked it: it was fresh and kind of refreshing, especially in winter. There's also soy sauce on the side if you find the soup too tasteless for your tongue. And the noodle is where I agree with some people: my noodle was a bit too chewy. As a pure personal opinion, I'd go back here again for the Wonton Noodle Soup: perfect portion and the price does justify what you're getting.
Now don't get me wrong, I've tried their combos too. Other foods beside the soup tasted great in my opinion: not too tasty and not to tasteless. If tasteless soups aren't your cup of tea, try their combos.
Also when I do reviews here on Maps, I look at several aspects beside the things that get past my tongue and into my stomach. For one, the staffs were super kind and friendly, especially the old lady behind the counter. The cashier, an bald guy, was chill like he had always been whenever I visited OP's food court. Not to mention, my noodle soup was ready in a timely manner—probably faster than other restaurants in...
Read moreGarbage. Seriously. BBQ pork fat where you might find some meat if you are lucky but you'll wish you hadnt as its rancid. Lipton cup a soup noodle and garbage "meats". Honestly, there is not another place nearby so I'd rather not have to write this but this place is just awful. I'm not exaggerating when I saw you could do better eating from garbage can. Cuz the smell and taste is what I would expect from said situation. Worst mall food ever. Thats quite an acheivement. They are rude too. Very short with people and measuring out the portion like that extra bit of pork fat is make or break. The whole portion should have been tossed in trash and not offered to begin with. Seasame chicken so dry and was that chicken? Hard to say. Deep fried something. Why does it taste like...
Read moreLegend says there was a time many years ago when the Sizzling Wok was the place to be, one of if not THE busiest food court locations. Lots of options, they kept the food fresh. Flavour! Sesame chicken with a crisp yet fluffy texture! JOY! But then something happened. I don't know what the story is, maybe new owners, new chefs, more apathy, who knows. The noodles are bland, the meat is stale and chewy, the chicken is mush, the vegetables.... ugh. It is actually hard to eat. I sometimes come by to try it again, but unless you come at the exact right time during the lunch/dinner rush, the food will have been sitting out all day going stale/mushy. I've been forced to throw it out on a few occasions. I will give it 2* knowing that with the right time of day it's at...
