Planet Lazer — Attraction in Kelowna

My daughter went to a birthday party at Planet Lazer today. We had to wait a bit after for the birthday party to wrap up. The two ladies working at the front were super friendly to everyone they spoke to, and seemed so happy to be there. My stepdaughter was taking her time chosing prizes, and the lady helping her was so cheerful and made my stepdaughter feel so proud for winning her 70 tickets. She even explained which prizes my stepdaughter could choose from and was so patient and acknowledged that it was a difficult and important decision for a child! Although this sounds like she was "just doing her job", we do not receive the same treatment any time we go to Sandia. The people there are usually miserable, and not friendly towards children. This was completely different, and the facility was so clean and all the machines were working, in good condition, and clean!!

Our family loves this place! It’s fun for kids and adults alike. The staff is always helpful, prices are reasonable, and the laser tag area is awesome – 2 levels of dark corners to hide from each other! So fun. Kids younger than 5 may want to stay close to an adult if they’re playing (to avoid getting trampled by the older kids). We have also done several birthday parties here. Party packages are affordable and flexible (you can bring your own cake/food or have them order pizza for you); staff is well organized and good at explaining the rules to players. There is also little viewing window on the second floor for parents who don’t want to play to watch the action....

From the time we made the original booking for my nephew’s 14th birthday to the day of the birthday party the whole experience was enjoyable, pleasant and professional! Selena who manned the front desk was patient, informative and knowledgeable when assisting us selecting the best birthday package. Coming from Vancouver we were not familiar with the process. A special “thank you” to Mel and Jenna who assisted in making the day of the party such fun. The whole family had a great time and huge appreciation for making my nephew’s day so special!
