The staff person who took my call was so helpful! I needed to know how to clean a large fabric piece that my Mom embroidered in 1987, so it could be framed and given as a gift. I learned so much! Now, I plan to visit, to gain more insight re: some family treasures: a quilt dated 1927, a small wooden Little Red Riding Hood doll, and white leather gloves that go all the way to the elbow that my grandmother had. I am petite myself with tiny hands and these are too small even for me! I am looking forward to learning more about their vintage and how to care for these treasures. Read moreI remember going here a couple years back, from what I remember it was an amazing experience. I loved the old equipment, the park was really nice, the grass was well kept. Downstairs there's a model layout of the local area, it was really detailed and the men operating it was super nice. If anyone is visiting the lower mainland, I'd highly recommend this museum.
