Had a great walk through, wish I had got the girls names who work there they were so pleasant to talk to, full of original pieces here as well & so much to learn, when you go down to the basement WOW! There is a diorama that has 30+ years of progress on it & still to this day continue to work on it. From what I've learned the last Sunday of the month they open it up so you can get a close up look at it & run the train.

First time visiting here, great and impressed a lot by train model downstairs and nice floor plan. Small but nice and full of knowledge. The host today : Gunoor(hope I spelled right) greeting us so welcome and friendly. She made our visit more memorable and the gentleman who waiting for us to come downstairs to tell story so nice and professional. Really recommended.

This tiny little house-turned-museum was actually really cool. It's full of artefacts and information about the local history and the people who helped shape and create Maple ridge and the surrounding areas. They're barely ever open, but it's worth the visit l, I think, if you can pop by when they're open!

The staff person who took my call was so helpful! I needed to know how to clean a large fabric piece that my Mom embroidered in 1987, so it could be framed and given as a gift. I learned so much! Now, I plan to visit, to gain more insight re: some family treasures: a quilt dated 1927, a small wooden Little Red Riding Hood doll, and white leather gloves that go all the way to the elbow that my grandmother had. I am petite myself with tiny hands and these are too small even for me! I am looking forward to learning more about their vintage and how to care for these treasures. I am grateful we have an Archivist and staff...

I remember going here a couple years back, from what I remember it was an amazing experience. I loved the old equipment, the park was really nice, the grass was well kept. Downstairs there's a model layout of the local area, it was really detailed and the men operating it was super nice. If anyone is visiting the lower mainland, I'd highly recommend this museum. Great information in the areas history and learnt some things I (as a long time Maple Ridge resident)...
