Most of the staff were very friendly and I hate to give a negative review based on one employee's actions but what happened today was unacceptable and truly makes me wary of coming back. I came in with two friends today and we bought the package that allowed us to play mini golf, laser tag and a couple games at the arcade. For the price the activities were great. Now for why I'm giving this place two stars. After we played in the arcade we wanted to redeem our tickets for some prizes. Understandably there were lot's of kids at Glow Zone today and I even think there was a party. We patiently waited in line behind some kids who were also redeeming their tickets. When it was our turn to redeem our tickets, the worker who was working at the prize booth looked at us and walked over to help kids who came after us. Honestly I wasn't really mad at that point because giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she truly didn't see that we were in line before the kids. So she finished helping that group of kids, walked past us again, and then proceeded to help another new group that again came after us. The third time she walked past us, we indicated that we were waiting to be helped and she told us to wait. After about the 7th time she skipped us to help a new group of kids (that again came after we did) it became fairly obvious that she was ignoring us as she looked directly at us a couple of times and still walked past us. And I get it, they were kids and we were adults and you want to help the kids first because they are kids but after about 15-20 minutes of waiting and new kids kept appearing and getting helped before us it started to get ridiculous. So being a little fed up I went to go find another worker who could help us. Once I came back with the new employee in tow, the employee that had been ignoring us for the last 20 minutes gave us a weird look like she couldn't believe I had the nerve to call another employee to help us and like we were being unreasonable and impatient. The new employee that came over to help us was fast and efficient. Maybe she should have been the one running the prize booth. In less than 2 minutes, all three of us chose the prizes that we wanted and we left. Wasn't aware that we would be treated differently because we were adults, I thought arcades were for all ages... Would love to get in contact with management so I can let the company know exactly who this...

I attended my grandsons birthday party at the Mississauga location, The children attending the party were all family, boys age ranging from 7-12 years old. Shocked to see the attendants coming over stating adults were complaining about the kids running around. Mind you as the attendant attempted to chastise us for the children running around in a child friendly establishment, we seen children run right past us. The attendant looked away and would not address the situation he brought forth. Playing at the establishment an item was broken they now wanted to charge $70. First of all dont you have liability? The fact they came up with the amount so quick and wanted cash brought more concerns our way. Fact is we were the only black party and we were pressured and chastised and treated unfairly without any room to discuss the multiple concerns we had which were initiated by the staff. Poor decision attending this establishment as we just came out of lock down and attempted to normalize the day with celebrating a 7 year old a bday party. Blatantly experiencing racism as the basis of the interactions with the staff. Needless to say we were confined to a square area cordoned off by partitions and told to stay there with no games, not anything. Hence, racism got the best of us along with our boys. Sad the boys had to deal with COVID 19 pandemic lockdown for two years just to have the celebration thwarted by this experience.

The host was worth all the five stars he received as I will be giving him a five star rating! It so unfortunate you see beyond how racism played a factor here. The children were running and did not harm themselves nor was any other child at risk. Yes, money was asked for ....the party mom is my daughter and she was not happy and left your establishment abruptly due to the way things were handled and the demand for cash of $70 which we new was shady. Call it what you want it still remained how it was described and experienced by the children. At least now I see why you caged us like animals! Reign them in...they...

Thank you to the staff for providing such a great venue for my preteen's birthday party. The kids had a blast! We bought the laser tag package.

Our hostess was great. She was hard to find at times but kept the party on schedule. We showed up 15 mins. early to set up.

I'm a mom of three so, I host three parties a year. It was much easier to have a venue with a hostess. She helped set up, she helped serve food. The food was fresh and yummy (we ordered pizza). Fountain drinks were unlimited.

There were two laser tag games: One free-for-all and one team game (2 teams). Our package came with a $10 arcade card. Lots of the kids reloaded. Kids left with prizes. That's on top of the loot bags we bought.

The venue provided the plates, cups and cutlery. The hostess carried the birthday cake in when we sang "Happy Birthday" so, I could take a video and she even sliced and served the cake. I wasn't expecting that since we brought our own cake.

Once the party was over, she cleaned everything up.

I've hosted elsewhere and our host wasn't as involved so, I actually tipped our host because of all the work she did. We were given a little leeway in the end but were eventually asked to clear the party room. We got almost 3 hours in the room, when I only paid for 2 so, I thought that was generous.

Only downside was we didn't get the coupons on time so, I wasn't able to hand them out before everyone left. We had to give them out at school.

Probably the most painless birthday party I've thrown so, I don't really have anything negative to say.

Thank you to all the staff! They were great. Even replaced a prize for free when it rolled under one of the arcade games.

Highly recommend. May host another...

We had a great time here...we had the whole place to ourselves for the majority of our visit, which certainly factors into our great time. Our family of 4 each got the $15.99 package. We played laser tag which was super fun and just the right amount of time (approx 15mins of actual play). Mini putt was also fun, 18 holes, there were a few holes were your ball could get 'lost', but they each had a warning sign that advised you to simply pick one up from the front desk. The arcade was also fun, the package gets you a $5 card, it's a small selection of games and they almost all worked! Still enough to have a good time, after tag and golf. We ordered the in house pizza, it took a long time to arrive, they intended to time it just right, but I think they actually forgot to put it in...a party was coming, perhaps they were busy preparing for it...the pizza was yummy, though the toppings easily slide off making it a bit messy. They had one pop machine in the back that has a variety of options, but only 1 cup can fill at a time. The machine needs a better or bigger drain because it can overflow onto the ground...there's a drain on the ground, but it can still get quite sticky/messy. They had washrooms and an area with 2 sinks outside the washrooms for simple handwashing. I used the women's washroom, it was clean. Again, the experience was really good, my kids 4 and 6 enjoyed themselves. but as soon as the party arrived, it gives you an idea of how busy it can get and how small the space can appear. We went on a weekday right afterschool.

The trick to having a great time at places like these, is to try and come during a time that is not typically busy. Once the place gets packed, there is nothing the employees can do to help speed up the process of others in the Golf Course or Laser Tag arena. At the end of the day, businesses like these are first come, first serve; so if you don't want to arrive early, then your best bet is to come when they aren't busy. Trust me, I promise you'll have a blast if you do. I came here with my wife and was pleasantly surprised with all of their activities. They have glow-in-the-dark Mini Golf, Laser Tag, and an Arcade. The package I purchased for us allowed us to do mini golfing and laser tag, while also giving us two $5 Arcade cards to play in the Arcade, all for around $45 total. Easily some of the best fun you can have for two people at that price tag. We thoroughly enjoyed everything they had to offer. The location was very clean (including their washrooms), and the staff were pleasant, informative, and attentive. I give them 5 stars based on my experience with their activities, staff/location quality, and price tag. Thanks GlowZone!
