Kidsports Indoor Playground and Children’s Birthday Party Play Place — Attraction in Mississauga

(Long post) We hosted our daughter's birthday here, got a 2 star review for the fun playground that is suitable for all ages. The thing is, the room was tiny, there was barely enough room for the kids, when it's supposed to be for a 15 kids and 15 adults accommodation..? I guess they expect the adults to sit outside and the kids to sit inside and get their own food in the room by themselves (some are toddlers)... and it comes with 1 party pizza with 20-30 slices for 30 people...? (Do not reply by saying we could've booked a bigger room, because if you have a party package for 15 kids and 15 adults, YOU have to accommodate for that many people, do not blame me for that)

They did not enforce the no shoe policy, I saw parents walking around with their shoes on, I guess it's really hard to enforce if all the employees just stay behind the counter in the front, and never leaving that counter to walk around. No one ever came to us to check if we needed anything. The only time they came to us was to ask us to come to the front to pay.

We had to continually go up to them to ask them where our food was, because an hour into our party time and there was no food (only allowed 2 hours in the room), our guests had to literally buy food from the counter themselves because the food at the counter was served faster than our food. Imagine that, having ordered food and hosting for your guests only for your guests to be hungry and have to resort to buying their own food (they finished their food, and our food still hasn't come).

I asked them about food choices, (since we are not allowed to bring our own food, no cookies, no chips, only fruit trays and veggies trays) they were super secretative, they do not list prices online and they did not get back to me about that until after I put down a deposit of $100 (which is non refundable, and I have emails of the exchange, where they keep saying they will "discuss" about the food further after we pay for the deposit) and it's really over priced a little mixing bowl of fries or onion rings is $30 literally fed like 3 people and it was gone, nuggets and chicken fingers were decently priced, 35 for $45 for nuggets and 20 for $45 (note probably have to ask them if you can bring your own sauce, they only have ketchup) I really think a cheese party pizza for $37+ is expensive, especially since there's no toppings on them.

The room is not worth $500+ tax, wanted to give this place a try because the playground seems fun for all ages, but the party packages are not worth it unless you have alot more people to book the biggest room and don't care to spend a crazy amount on fries, onion rings, nuggets, and pizza. Could find better accommodating places that allow you to bring your own food at least, bigger rooms that accommodate for the amount of people in their packages, and actually come with hosts to help with the setting up and is very attentative so you can actually run around with your kids to play, and when you arrive even 15 minutes earlier to set up the room is already ready for you, you don't have to get there and ask them to clean the room for you so you can set up. This place has been around for years. Recently I wanted to relive my childhood good and take my kids there I was shocked how dirty it was, the closet area was insanely small and beyond dirty, there were multiple people walking around in their SHOES, and some with no socks on at all! I was beyond shocked that the staff doesn’t make sure people entering are taking their shoes off and have socks on. The baby area has this spring area and they are basically black., people were inside the play areas with drinks, coffee from Tim’s, and even food. I seen a child literally eating a cracker it breaking in the ball pit and the parents didn’t even try to clean up or tell staff. There is signs no food or drinks or shoes in areas but staff isn’t making sure these are followed. The cafe area was completely full and taken by people attending parties it was way over filled with people, also there was a very aggressive child hitting several kids the mom wasn’t doing anything about it would let her disabled child that’s clearly have aggressive behaviour problem go into the playground where her kid was hit other children which was very unsafe on staff and her part. The tunnels look like they haven’t been cleaned in years also some padding completely flat and should be replaced before a child hits the concrete and gets hurt. The arcade games most of them are broken and not even working. If this place had owners that took the time to clean this place up it would be much better going forward I recommend checking out funday on Dundas and Dixie where it’s clean and sanitized multiple times a day etc as this place is so run down and disgustingly dirty and now my child is sick and to be honest for sure he got sick from coming to kidsport!

This place is not deep cleaned ever. People were walking bare foot and eating in ALL areas. I rather go to a place charging more and seeing rules being followed with safe that actually works and properly maintains the work place. This place is so dirty ! Disgusting how you try to respond by justifying the sock real “only to enter” lol .. your staff should be checking anyone coming in to make sure socks are worn and food isn’t being eaten and dropped in areas look at the condition the toddler area is in the sponges covered in dirt. Anyways this place is nasty. Condition is beyond poorly taken care of , Ontop of it why have an arcade where most games aren’t even working, the party fees and entry fees clearly portions of it don’t go to up keeping this place in a...

Edit. Reduced rating down to one star after the owners replied and tried to blame me for the tiny room. We booked a 15/15 room for a party of 15/15 people. The fact the room barely fit the 15kids since it's only a room with a table and tiny kid chairs. You go and accuse us of not booking the bigger room. I fail to see how I need to book a 30/30 room for a party of 15/15. Don't advertise 15/15 room if it's not a room with enough seating and tables for 15/15.

We hosted my 2 year olds birthday here and here's a honest review. They get more than one star just because the playground and especially the baby areas are actually really good and the kids really enjoyed it. But that's where the good parts end.

First things first the place was sheer chaos and no enforcement of the no shoes rules are adults were walking around with shoes and that's just kinda gross when you're one of the ones who actually follows the rules and wears socks.

Secondly the party room we reserved a 15 adult 15 kid party room for 500$+ tax it was wayyyyyy too small. Literally could only fit the kids in there at most and maybe 10 adults standing if anything.

Third. The package only includes one party pizza and one juice per kid....it's no where near enough. Now they don't even allow you to bring your own food except fruit and veggie platters. That's fine and all we brought our own drinks and ordered extra pizzas, sides and nuggets off them. Now the sides and nuggets were really good I believe it's Costco nuggets. But they literally had no sauce other than ketchup. So be warned. Plain nuggets. The food price was also way expensive. 40$ for cheese pizza for example. The food also came out super late. Came out at the last 45 mins of our 2hour time. So we had to rush to eat and clean up. Almost didn't have time for cake.

Lastly. No host with any of the packages. So we literally had to clean the place ourselves when we arrived and then had to clean it up afterwards. So I had no time to play with my kids as I was busy hosting, setting up, and cleaning, as well as chasing for plates, utensils and condiments.

TLDR. It's worth it if you're just bringing your own kids here for a playdate as the playground and baby area are actually good. But do not host a party here it's definitely not worth the price they charge and the food prices. Rooms are tiny, food was okay but no sauces other than ketchup and...
