Dynasty BBQ Restaurant — Restaurant in Mississauga

Let’s face it. Dynasty BBQ Restaurant is not in the best mall in the world. But where does this type of food vendor belong? It’s located in the middle of a line of other food vendors at Dixie Park’s food court. Tip: It gets busy between 11:30am – 1pm. All the workers in the area rush in to buy their food and seating becomes very limited.

I eat at Dynasty often. I’m used to the ducks and pork hanging in the window as I used to visit Toronto Chinatown frequently back in the day. I always order a combo dish: Roast pork and soya chicken on rice while wife has the roast duck and soya chicken on rice. Drinks are on special for 2 for $1.50. Comes with a side serving of veggies and a soup. Around $15.50 for two! They have a menu of other stir fry and bbq meals but I like to have a little variety. My husband was in a hunt for a new place where we can order our favorite BBQ and roasted dishes, as the one we previously go to either closed down, ridiculously increases their prices, or they take advantage of you by keeping some of the "cutted meats". We went here last weekend, and their area is one of the few that would always have customers lining up. Ordered their pork BBQ and roasted duck, and it was worth it. Price wise, the taste (the best BBQ pork I had for years, and they literally give you all the cuttings of the duck), and the speed of their service was impressive. I had the spicy squid with chilli and a drink ($11). It was not very good. The squid was very hard and did not seem fresh, the batter/breading was horrible and the entire dish was very tasteless, not spicy at all. Even the rice was not good, it was very greasy and overcooked. Service was pretty quick and the staff was ok. Place is located in a small plaza and lots of parking is available on site.
