Not many people know about this Hidden Gem you would think you were in the middle of nowhere while hiking in the woods here. I walk with my dog quite frequently and rarely encounter other people which is something I love. The trail is well maintained by the city other than sometimes in the winter when they are unable to get down to it. If you're quiet enough you can see the herds of deer that roam throughout the park. The people that do use this park seem to respect it as there is very little garbage which is something you don't encounter a lot in public parks these days. Read moreToday a friend and I went to Wahoosh falls for the first time. We walked through the walkway off Mississauga rd just a few steps into the bush and we were there. The falls are pretty but they are small and not accessible. It was a little disappointing.....right now its barricaded off with metal fences. The signs are clearly marked danger no entry. The reason for this is probably due to the embankment thats clearly eroding. We tried to take pictures through the fence that but we were too far away. The trail is similar to the beltline trail running across midtown Toronto but not as lush or secluded. Itis hard to escape the sounds of the near by traffic and there are not many mature trees lining your walk. But the trail is well maintained, hard packed and mostly level.
