2nd visit: we came by to get a full mango cheesecake for a celebration and an original tiramisu (no pic). The cake was so delicious everyone at the event had positive things to say about it. Just like the injeolmi, the original tiramisu was missing a layer of cake in the middle. We definitely recommend getting their mango cheesecake!!

Orignal review (1st visit): We came to Tokyo Cheesecake Cafe after dinner on a Saturday and got: a slice of matcha cheesecake, a slice of mango cheesecake, an injeolmi tiramisu, and a 3-pack of corn muffins. When we went in, the store was pretty busy, so we decided to get takeout. Their service was quick, and they packaged the food well, so the slices did not get damaged during our commute home. The 2 cheesecake slices were delicious! They were not too sweet at all, and the balance between the other flavours and variety of textures made the cheesecakes very enjoyable. The injeolmi tiramisu was delicious, but the balance in textures was off. It was missing a layer of cake in the middle. It was mostly cream with a thin slice of matcha flavoured cake at the bottom. The corn muffins were a bit too dry for our liking. Stick to buying what they are known for:...

I have purchased 4 cakes from this place so far all on different occasions. I love this place for cakes. The sweetness is perfect. I've had the strawberry cheesecake, matcha green tea cheesecake, tiramisu cheescake, and black sesame tiramisu cheesecake. All were made tasting exactly as its' name. They have plenty more flavours that I am hoping to try for next time. The cakes are priced at the higher end but it is worth the cost since there is no other speciality cheesecakes with matcha, black sesame, injeolmi, etc. flavours in all of Mississauga. Their other bakery items looked very appetizing that I bought matcha madeleines which tasted delicious. The lady which I assume must be the owner of the store thanked me a lot of times for the purchase. Lots of Asian places put lots of high quality hard work in their products and this is...

Wow. Just wow. This place is a little shop in a plaza I pass all the time, I finally was craving some dessert and decided to take a chance on this place. It was really excellent! The quality is comparable to many high end bakeries I've gone to throughout Ontario.

I got the matcha cheescake and the mixed fruit cake box, and both were excellent. The mixed fruit box especially was unexpectedly amazing-it has the exact balance of cream, fruit, and cake. Not too much fruit to make it soggy, not too much cake to make it dry, not too much cream to make it overwhelming. 10/10 cake box. The matcha cake was also excellent, with a subtle matcha flavour and well balanced creamy cheescake.

I will definitely be coming back. This location also has some limited seating which is nice and unique daquoise I will be trying. Food 10/10, ambiance...

Overall, I’ll have to say that Tokyo Cheesecake has really good ready-made Korean cakes (I especially like their sweet potato sponge cake, green tea cheesecake, and strawberry cheesecake). Therefore, I had high hopes when ordering a custom cake for a bridal shower. The pros: the cake definitely fed a lot of people (as requested), and was fresh. The cons: it didn’t necessarily match up to the design I had provided, it was supposed to be a strawberry cake but it tasted more like a regular vanilla sponge cake — a little underwhelming in taste compared to their regular selection of cakes. I’m not sure if it was due to the language barrier, but the custom experience didn’t match up to my expectations, especially given the price I paid. All this to say, go and try their regular cakes and baked goods as they’ve nailed those!
