A must-visit, especially if you’re looking to see the city’s best views and enjoy the outdoors. I spent the day exploring the park by bike, and it was nothing short of amazing. The park is beautifully laid out, with well-maintained paths that make it a great choice for cyclists of all levels. Riding up through the tree-lined trails, you’re constantly surrounded by nature, which feels like a peaceful retreat from the city below.

The view of Montreal from the top is absolutely stunning. Reaching the summit feels like a reward, especially with the panoramic view that stretches across the city and beyond. You can see so many of Montreal’s landmarks from this vantage point, and it’s a perfect spot to take photos and just enjoy the beauty of the cityscape.

One of the highlights of the park is the Mount Royal Chalet. The building itself is lovely and has an old-world charm that adds to the park’s atmosphere. Inside, there’s some history and artwork that give you a glimpse into Montreal’s past, while outside, the expansive terrace provides one of the best lookout points in the city. Relaxing there, with the skyline in view and a cool breeze, was a highlight of my visit.

Beyond the views and trails, Mount Royal Park is filled with lush greenery, peaceful picnic spots, and a variety of trails to explore. It’s the perfect place for a day of relaxation or a bit of exercise, whether you’re hiking, biking, or just...

What a great view point to see Montreal and its free!!!

The entire area is so beautifully maintained with fresh trimmed green grass, walking and cycling paths. There is a huge metered parking lot and it was not really crowded that day. You would need one of those big slr cameras to capture really good pictures. Infact after seeing the sights we picked up many more sights to visit. I think it's open till 12 midnight and would be outstanding at night with the...

Very slippery and unsafe trails that lead to it in winter.

As much as this place is great during the summer time, it is not good in winter. The trails are not well maintained, they are icy and very slippery making them very unsafe. This is unfortunate as it’s a nice area to walk to, hike and admire the view of the city. On the other hand, the Chalet is well set up and very nice, one can sit there to relax or do some work or just...

Photos donot do justice to the view . Your naked eye will see the view 1000 times better. The most beautiful park I've ever visited has to be Mount Royal. Ample parking areas. The best time to visit the park is an hour before sunset so you can catch both the views- evening and night. Both the views are mesmerising. If I were living in Montreal I would go here everyday. Donot give second thoughts just walk to the scenic view.
