Subject: Feedback and Complaint Regarding Staff Behavior
Dear Owner of the Eastern Food Market!
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns regarding an incident I experienced at your Eastern Food Market Niagara Falls yesterday at May 22 2025 at 12:30 PM. Since tow years i am customer here. While shopping for beef, I encountered a staff member whose behavior was quite alarming. Although I do not know his name, I have a video of the interaction that I would be happy to share if needed. Unfortunately, he was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. When I mentioned that the beef I purchased three days prior had an unpleasant smell and taste, he responded in a very unprofessional manner. Instead of addressing my concern, he told me that if I was unhappy, I should not return to the store again in the future. He threatened me get out of the store otherwise i Punch you, he was trying to jump on me the other guy come and took him at the back. I found his attitude to be unacceptable, particularly as a customer who was simply seeking assistance. It is disappointing to feel threatened and disrespected while trying to shop. I am not the only one who has noticed this behavior; I have heard similar complaints from other customers.
Given this experience, I feel compelled to leave a one-star review, as it reflects you the in your business unprofessionalism encountered. I believe that customer service is crucial for any business, and I hope that you will take this feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for future customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from...
Read moreI appreciate the presence of a desi store like the Eastern Food Market in the Stamford area, and it's my preference to support this local business. The store offers a commendable variety of Pakistani and Middle Eastern groceries, halal meat, and produce, along with a restaurant.
However, I've experienced some issues that I'd like to bring to your attention:
During the summer and until my recent visit in the first week of July 2023, I have been noticing an unpleasant odor of spoiled meat in the parking lot and surrounding areas of the store. This suggests the need for more diligent sanitation measures.
Additionally, I've found that the produce often lacks freshness. More concerningly, when attempting to select fresher mangoes, I've been persuaded by the cashier to purchase less fresh, or even rotten items. I would like to request that customers be allowed to choose the freshest produce without being pressured otherwise. No one likes to take garbage home.
The consistency of the restaurant's menu, including the quality and taste of the food, appears to be variable. It is disappointing that a previously enjoyed dish may not live up to the same standards when ordered again.
I hope these matters are...
Read moreThis is to the owner of this Shawarma fast food : we ordered two Shawarma wraps , the lady who was preparing ….the Shawarma chicken almost was uncooked , put them on them heating plate to cook, but before doing that , she was a cleaning and scraping out that layout of dark black burned out residues ! Just so you know, the Shawarma should be cooked in the Rotary broiler prior, not on that surface; that plate is not meant to be for cooking the Shawarma meat , it’s just to heat it up a little bit before putting in it in the wraps. What you’re causing to consumers is a food poisoning with previous burned out food residue picked up from that heated surface. Again; that heating surface MUST be cleaned properly before putting the the meat on it. This was recorded and may be reported to health...
