Corporate needs to put these employees in check and remind them of the policies with regards to how they treat their members, front desk is suppose to be guest services? All i see is chatting employees on their phones that disregard common courtesy and the managers enable it.
Health inspection was showing up once a week, everyone knew why as the toxic flys in the showers and black mold in sauna was not obvious enough, for once they even changed the shower curtains, the ânewâ white curtains are turning yellow again btw. The toxic flys never left and the sauna floors are black molded as ever. Perhaps a official government health inspector should get a leading tip to shut this place down if they think this is a joke.
Front desk was having a positive change when they had a proper manager there Donavan, i no longer see him and have noticed a big change in simple greetings, acknowledgment, and positivity.
Sales department are like vultures, once they get your name they have a hit list on you for commission, then you become a walking ghost with no regards after a deal.
This place had a good moment , over time the employees get a little too comfortable, but its simply because the managers enable it, I owned many businesses myself and some small things that iam pointing out here with regards to common courtesy should not even be in question, gym environment relies on this concept for success and positivity, my friends and me included will be withdrawing memberships as its what it comes down to, if the facility cant change, change the facility Don't forget members, we pay money to be here! And without us they...
Read moreI signed up for the personal training contract, I'm 4 months into my agreement and I never got the "fitness assessment" that is supposed to be part of the agreement, I never had any of my measurements taken, I have never received a "work out plan" like advertised in one of the videos on their website, I literally have my one session a week with my trainer and then repetitively do the same things hes taught me in the session during the rest of my week not knowing doing repetitive workouts cause injuries and ended up with a really bad back injury that Im currently on medications for, I was promised 7 free sessions for signing up, I only received 3, when I asked to switch my trainer because I wasn't happy with the service provided by the trainer who was training me, I was verbally attacked by the employee and made feel extremely uncomfortable, the cleanliness and the hygiene of the locker room and showers are disgusting I've left the gym one day and come back the next and have seen things like a sock someone dropped still there so they obviously never bothered even sweeping, the staff is very pushy and adamant about getting you to sign up for training from the minute you sign your membership, its extremely impossible to get into contact with customer service, I would not recommend to anyone to join any of this company's gyms as customer satisfaction is no where near their main priority. Wish I had did more research before deciding to join as I know see many people who have the same issues I'm experiencing all over...
Read moreWhen I first started here the experience was great. Everything was seamless, but everything went downhill very quickly. If they ever offer you a complimentary FREEZE in lieu of cancellation, check your bank carefully, as they don't actually honour that. They kept taking money every month. They offered to refund 2/5 months, and after a long argument they said they would escalate the other fees. 2 weeks later nothing. The manager that deals with those issues only works moday-friday 9-5, so I went in for those hours and miraculously she's off on JUST THIS Monday. She also avoids calls, I was told she wasn't in, threatened to report fraud and suddenly she was "just walking in".
Be VERY careful with this place, as they are so desperate for money they will scam and pretend they never made any offers. They don't take their members seriously either, when I came in for an update, the guy at the counter was so snotty and looked up info while talking to me with a mouthful of food. Doing his job was a real interruption of his day apparently.
Just do yourself the favour and find a smaller or locally owned gym. The big amenities like hottub and pool are often used for service anyway.
Only credit I will give is (as of my last visit) facilities are clean, and there's a variety of equipment to use. Just be careful with the financial aspect. They definitely have no itengrity with respect to their members,...
