This area is a Hidden Gem in Oakville. In addition to the Scenic Harbor, there is actually a Sandy Beach! I had an art show at Sovereign house, and when visiting there and enjoying the history of the house, I learned that the author of "The White Oaks of Jalna" lived here at some point and the people of Oakville played a role in her writings. It is a beautiful neighborhood and enjoyable to just walk around and look at the pretty Homes and Gardens as well as the parks surrounding the house, which overlooks the harbor and Beach. The cars at the parking lot were parked with headlights on and no signs of people nearby creeped us a bit.
