0 stars I ordered Chhole and Aloo paratha and samosa chaat. Quality was worst because I got few stones into it. Not sure they did it deliberately because the problem begins with the ordering process. They gave me very hard time while ordering the food initially. The order taker was such a dumb while taking the order because a customer is clearly telling what he wants and how many items and what quantities. Even after clearly stating, the order taker was looking my face and asking to order more. I said I am okay and waived my hand. She misunderstood and put the wrong quantity and I realized while paying it. I overpaid and immediately realized that the order taker has put more quantity of food without my knowledge. When I asked to cancel the extra item before they start making and asked for refund, they denied to refund and asked me to buy just because they don’t want to return my money. I didn’t want to buy anything extra but they kept forcing me to buy. Finally, When I bought something unwillingly, the items that I took from the shelf were few cents more than what I am supposed to get the refund for but again to my surprise, that person asked me to pay for those few extra cents instead of honoring my request for overlooking it and started arguing with me to pay for that. Such a pathetic excuse. After such an annoying experience, when I got my food, went home and started eating it and found few big stones inside my food. I immediately called the store to complain and to my surprise, ironically they asked me to drive for 20kms to get a replacement. I went the next day to show them their quality of food and asked for refund after driving 20kms, they started creating a drama in the store and again forced me to take a replacement instead of giving me a refund. I asked a simple refund, they denied. When I told them that I will complain about their food quality to food association, the manager comes out and started asking me stupid questions and asking me to take cash. I said I paid you via credit and I want my money the same way I paid you yesterday. That person again started asking stupid questions about order receipt and all. He literally lied to me that his POS machine can’t generate refund request. Wow such a dumb excuse. Incompetent people work here. When I told him that I will now finally going to complain, his POS machine started giving refunds from it. Isn’t that surprising ? Over the years, this establishment has repeatedly beckoned me from the sidewalk. Ever on the lookout for a spot that delivers on the promise of flavorful, home-cooked Indian delights without burning a hole in my pocket, Indo-Asian Groceries & Spices managed to elude my attention. Its unassuming facade and no-frills name gave off more of a grocery haven vibe than a culinary gem. Note to self: never rush to judgment. While their menu isn't sprawling (a quarter of it is devoted to Indian sweets), the allure lies in the promise of quality over quantity. On this particular visit, we indulged in generous portions of saag paneer, spiced rice, and an order of six fish pakoras. Exquisite, to say the least! Fear not the spice, for it dances on the palate with a tantalizing heat that never veers into the realm of unbearable. Should you desire an extra kick, a discreet request for the "Indian Style" might just elevate the experience. After all, you can always introduce hot sauce, but the intricate dance of flavors is a more elusive companion. They don't even deserve a 1 star actually

Worse customer service 👎🏻 ever. We were their regular customer at there huron location for food and groceries I ordered 1 Indian curry, 1 fish snacks and 2 breads. When I saw the bill I quickly noticed that I have been charged for a dish 2 times,I told the owner that i have been charged twice for a dish but the owner kept looking at me and din uttered a single word. And the girl(employee) who took my order was so reluctant, instead of admitting her mistake. She was trying to prove me wrong. tAnd the owner also refused to take it back. Though we were their reqular customer and still they were so rude to us, don't know what would they do with their new customers.On the top of this they gave us dry and unfresh fish pakoras for $8 !!
