Nice little Beach area next to a splash pad and a small public park.

Corded off shallow area, deep area with a raft and a dock to jump off of. Lots of sand for the younger children to make sand castle with.

There is a water break, so the water always seems to be calm, making it more enjoyable.

No lifeguards or surveillance of any sorts. So swim at your own risks.

There are also a couple picnic tables.

Their are public restrooms across the ways to get changed in.

There are a few trees for shade, but you may wish to bring an umbrella or sun shade and plenty of sunscreen.

There an ice cream shop just at the end of the block too.

One downside to this park though is people smoking (all sorts of things). I'm surprised that they allow it in such a family oriented public place as it can truly ruin your stay at the beach.

Parking is a pain! It can be very difficult to find parking and everything in Gananoque is paid parking. So arm yourself with...

Very tiny man made sandy beach spot which was super busy during the heat wave yesterday (July 5). It was super loud with tons of kids and youngsters. There is a playground structure right on the sandy beach park with surrounding grassy areas for lounging on blankets or towels etc. there’s a lovely refreshing breeze from the surrounding river which washes over this area and several tall trees offering shade and shelter from the scorching sun. There is also a floating dock for diving thus the loud fun noises. Also of note, is a small water park for the tiny tots to run around in. Note: no dogs allowed in...

We were very pleased with our visit to the Joel Stone Beach. There is lots of sand to lay on, the water is quite clean and there's even a dock and floating raft that can be used for diving off. We had no trouble finding a tree to sit under and even make use of one of the Adirondack chairs that are provided. There are also plenty of treat and food vendors near by, all within walking distance. Even the parking was no trouble. You may have to pay a few dollars, but it wasn't too expensive. We will be coming back to this place, now that we know it is such a nice...

Nice small sandy beach with a pier to jump off of. Floating dock in the middle of the water. Splash pad for the kids and accessible washrooms on site. Needs a water refill station for hot days! Beaver tail truck usually on site for treats, and a short walk to a small boardwalk cafe that serves ice cream and coffee. Also located a short walk to the boat museum where alcoholic beverages, coffee and icecream/popsicles are available.

Some terribly behaved teens again thus year. Cursing and swearing. Very dangerous behavior on the raft. My kid could not go there for fear of getting hurt. This was our first trip to the beach for 2022 and most likely our last. The town needs to step it up and hire a lifeguard (babysitter) for these kids so others can enjoy Joel Stone Park too.
