Gananoque Walking Tour: Explore the Gateway to the Thousand Islands — Local services in Ontario

My boyfriend and I made Dee‘s walking tour on the day of our departure. We were the only ones that morning and excited about the surprise private tour! Thanks to the times offered we were able to fit it in before heading back on the road (I would recommend the early tour for parking reasons and because it’s a still a little more quiet in the town :)). Time went by fast during the tour. We took a couple of detours and extra turns for personal interest and questions and Dee offered her photo skills for pictures of us at the seaside. I enjoyed the walking tour around Gananoque and found it to be very informative. Dee is passionate about sharing the history of Gananoque and readily answered any questions I had and kept the tour engaging as we went around town.

I found myself able to enjoy the museum and cruises a lot better as the history explained in those experiences had already been brought up on the walking tour.

I enjoyed a private walking tour of downtown Gananoque on September 12th, 2024. Dee goes into great detail for the historic town of Gananoque. It was most enjoyable and I learned a lot from Dee. She is very personable, answering all of my questions and more. Dee made our visit to Gananoque very enjoyable, the following day, my husband and retraced some of these steps which took hours.
