The worst service I have ever experienced. Arrived at this restaurant 80 minutes before cruise sailing off, it had merely 70% occupancy. I thought we could get something bite soon after we had ordered because there is no queue at the entrance and there were around five staff working inside. Unfortunately, no body came over our table asking for an order until 20 minutes passed. Top water was served 25 minutes after we had placed order unless we asked them to do so. That is not the end of the chaos. We waited for the food with highly patience. No one gave a glance to us within another 20 minutes even I handed up. They all look too “busy” to be aware orders was not ready for long time. My patience ran out finally when I saw the other tables which came much later than us got served before us. When I asked the head of the staff what happened and we could not wait anymore. I was suggested to wait for another 5-7 minutes! More ridiculous thing is I received excuses include: the negligence of this table was due to busy hour and too many customers (if 70% occupancy could tell us); the other customers ordered earlier before they came in (why I saw them waited at the entrance and still viewed the menu quite a while after they’d sit down the table?). In case we missed the cruise, we cancelled the order at once. This is the first time I came across such kind of service. It ruins my mood of the day. Be careful, you might not be...
Read moreAVOID. There was not one thing enjoyable about this experience other than your water being served with lemon wedges.
Table of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. It took 1h to get our food once we ordered.
The Chop salad was horrendous (Almost $20 for a meal salad which was smaller than an appetizer salad anywhere else. Jarred plain salad dressing with maybe an ounce of toppings other than lettuce).
The kids mac n cheese had barely any cheese, and literally no sauce. Basically plain pasta that had some shredded cheese melted on it. It was supposed to come with cheesy bread and that forgotten by the waitress.
The buffalo wrap is barely had chicken in it, and the waitress didn’t bring out the ranch that was supposed to accompany it, it needed to be asked for.
This is just to name a few because this review would be too long to rate each meal item.
The service however was very friendly and warm, but the waitresses were proclaiming that they were running around with their heads cut off with only about 7 tables occupied in total, including the patio. As someone who worked in the service industry for over a decade, this is just a poor excuse unless you’re also cooking the food.
We decided to eat here because we didn’t want to lug four kids back into town so we settled for the thing closest to the beach...
Read moreConvenient Location, But Disappointing Food and Service
Stopped by this restaurant after our excursion cruise, mainly because of its close proximity to the dock and its obvious popularity with tourists. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the buzz.
We ordered the fish and chips, hoping for a classic, satisfying meal. What we got was a plate of overly oily fish with a heavy batter that overwhelmed any natural flavor. The chips were just okay — not crispy or seasoned enough to stand out. It felt like the food was more about speed and volume than quality.
Service was equally underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and stretched thin, with long waits for both ordering and the check. There was very little engagement or warmth, and it felt like we were just another group to cycle through.
The location is definitely convenient if you’re coming off a cruise, but aside from that, there’s not much to recommend here. If you’re after a more memorable meal, it might be worth walking a...
