Joel Stone Heritage Park — Attraction in Ontario

Nice park with good waterfront views. Came for a walk through the park while in town for lunch a few weeks ago, there is a nice path that follows the waterfront through, and loops up to a loghthouse and large flagpole and back around. There's a beach and playground in the park as well as an amphitheater and a fair amount of open space. There's also a monument to the history of the region, which is cool to read. We went from ottawa and it was a beautiful morning weather but then it started heavy raining, that still did not stop the cruise from launching at 12pm. It was an amazing Experience, it was beautiful and we had so much fun, the park is huge and really clean. The water park is such a convenient add on to it. So many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the islands, and definitely close to downtown gananoque, very nice people and are always willing to help. Definitely...

A perfect place to sit and relax with a picnic as you watch the boats cruise along the river. The park offers swimming, enough space to take a calming walk, a splash pad if you have young ones (or are young at heart) and an ice cream truck. Definitely recommend this park for...
